i was watching Stargate last night and came up with this one.

its basically a litte grey orb. you can throw or roll it into a room or area, and when it stops rolling, it emits a really loud, high-pitched wail that paralyzes(spelling?) your foe, and can render him unconcious. on top of that, the grenade also emits a really bright light, which temproarily blinds that person.

anyone, friend or foe, who is looking in the basic direction of this grenade will be affected, even the thrower.

Ya first of all... um Mooman1014 that grey orb thing you were talking about, i dont watch that show and it might look different but the discription you gave us sounded exactly like a flashbang, that would be cool tho. I think in Halo 2 they should do something the really pissed me (and prolly a lot of other people) off, i know the vehicles are destructable but what law in the Halo universe says that the dropships cant be destructable too?? :) Just imagine, a few well placed rockets could take down a whole covenant strike team before they even hit the ground. Plus if in halo 2 your allowed to call in reenforcements, you would have to make sure you were away from any covies, or you would have to fall back a ways just so they don't shoot down the pelican carrying your only chance of survival.

Forge your Own World... then destroy it!

I have come up with a idea for a multiplayer type. Its kinda a cross of Team Slayer and Jugganaut.

They have to have a map that is specifically for plasma sword fights. One team would have a base a little bit from the edge of the hill. I guess the elites would have this hill. The Spartans would be at the bottom with thier base a little bit away from the bottom of the hill. Each team gets a General which would be a elite or spartan.

Points would be awarded for kills but 5 points for killing the general. However it would be worh killing him because the general of each team would have better health and more power with the sword.

You could set it so if the general died 5 times or a team scored 50 points its over. If it could be done you could also have the team who comes up the hill win if they can take the flag from the hill base and bring it back down the hill.


You could also do that on flat ground so it would be a Halo style gladiator!

Ok now for silly ideas:
1. Being able to baseball bat grenades with your plasma sword or do a golf strike motion with it (Four! ...........................boom. You Killed Speedy Gonzalez)
2. Have Warthogs with NOS.
3. Taunting like in Unreal Tournement (Wort Wort Wort!)
4. Jetpack. (maybe thats going over the line of ridiculous)
5. Finnally to have a sumo style ring for up to 8 players where you have to push each other's warthogs off the side into a pit of say The Flood or Lava or soft cushions whatever you like.

ok i know its a small thing but its something u could have a real laugh over with ur m8s

i reacon that the should have something like "microsoft sam" in the multyplayer so say when u kill 3 ppl it say " way to go!" and then @ 15 u could have it say " w00ttackular" and all sorts of stuff
but u could have it shout "fnlijsnjidfbgsdiuvnbdsignbdfkjnsd" just for a laugh and of cause this would be with the same kick arse voice as last time and maby some more

too many suggests to make the game too easy... how lame would a game be if you had some attack that just killed everything around you? where's the challenge in that?

a few things that wouldn't alter the balance of the game too much (I think):

fully customizable armor (not just two colors and a somewhat custom emblem): I mean you design your armor in photoshop or some other program and load it up via CD. Or may as an add-on, have an image editor in the settings so you could do it directly on the xbox. Something that will truly set a player apart from the rest of their teammates even when they are the same color. Of course there would have to be a limit to the customization because if you're on the Red team, it's only fair to make it obvious that you're truly on the Red team. I just think it would be cool to be running into a base and be identified by the sight of my badass armor (and not the name above my head) as "that guy that just killed me by melee-ing me in the face with a plasma sword, and then squatted and shot my dead carcass."

smoke grenades (I think I might've read something about these in an earlier FAQ): I don't know about you guys but I think something like this would be cool, even if they only provided cover for like 5 seconds. That would easily be utilized by both sides and could be somewhat rare (like plasmas in Blood Gulch).

impact damage: At E3 there was no falling damage, but that was most likely due to the early build. On top of this, I think impact from items such as the barrels, debris from around the level, flying vehicle parts, flying dead/alive MC's, etc. should all do some amount of damage. What better way to stop a flag run but to jump on the runner's head from the top of a base?

eliminate homing missiles: Pretty, pretty please?!?!?!?! This makes the rockets waaaaaaay too damn cheap. The art of hitting a moving, swerving warthog from 200 m will be entirely lost. If this is a single player feature only, that's fine with me, but I don't really care for a noob to be able to blast me in a warthog with little to no effort whatsoever. Some possibilites for making this option a little more realistic:
[li]Make the homing missile a bit slower than a normally fired rocket: If the homing missile gains on the warthog slower than a normal, straight line rocket, a skilled driver with an alert gunner can avoid a homing missle, just like a rocket in the first Halo.[/li]
[li]Make the arc of the homing missle much wider. Just like with needles, homed missiles should be dodgeable. In something like a warthog, I don't think -- at this point -- the best driver will be able to out manuever the homed missile.[/li]
[li]fly by wire: Not my favorite choice, but if it the system to run it was squirrely enough (like driving the original warthogs through terrain), it would be limited to those patient enough to learn the skills necessary to be effective with it. In this case no speed downgrade would be needed as it would make the thing too damn easy to steer.[/li]
Any way, keep balancing and don't add too many "features." Keep up the good work, Bungie! I have faith and will be there on Nov. 9th to own you all! GET SOME!

I forgot one

customizable verbs: Int he E3 demo they had a few more verbs than "killed." For example, they had you "splattered" Wort and you "beat down" Wort. If those could be customizable, that would just be hot. :)

I think there should be a light gernad that temperaraly blinds the enemy. and there should be a hologram of your self. there should also be a warp ball that you could place and when ever you wanted to go back you could triger it and it will take you back.

A bomb Like an emp pulse whitch would disable some electricle vehicles,or turrets... but be able to play as grunts!and the grenade would be like a suicide bomb (only for the grunts)But... it could also be a suicide plasma bomb.=) i win

This idea is a builing... but first it would be a carrying handheld crate or something and you could deploy it but you had to wait in on spot for 8 minutes constructing a sandbag cover through to a huge gatling turret.The time would depend from like 2 minutes for a sandbag fence thing to like 16 minutes for a giant turret.But the time would also be shorter if other teamates helped you build on it.

1.Throw deploy crate on ground.
2.Deploy (walk up to it and press X).
3.A pile of items will appear (hold X) and it will go to third person showing you build it.
4Next while holding x a loading bar will com up and by yourself it will go slow but with 3 spartans helping it would go 3x the speed.
5.It will be completed warning:can be destroyed

Steel plate cover-4min
UNSC normal concrete cover-6min
Turret(don't know the turrets)-3min
Fence-1min
Temporary hospital-10min
Garage-10min
Laser fence-2min

i d have to say the ablilty to fight with out a weapon would be insane like if u daont ahve any ammo u could just start boxing people that woudl be crazy i think it would be liek a melee attack with out useing a gun :)

2 things. 1) hunters loose the orange spot and 2) hunters can flip over small viecles insted of jumping away ( worthog, ATV, ghost.....)

a couple ideas...

make a sp level in which you were manning the gun of a pelican and you were rescuing some marines who were on the other side of a city/level. You have to kill off any dropships and covies that you can, and then you get out of the pelican and fight with the squad you're rescuing.

Here's a great concept simple and useful. When your gun runs out of ammo on MP or SP, instead of running around with it, hold down say white button (just for now) and that lets you throw your gun. The longer you hold down the button the farther the gun goes, that'd be great think. Use a plasma pistol to kill a Jackal's shield, then chuck the gun at his head for the kill.

Another idea... whenever you know your in someone's sniper scope, or charging at someone, you're so out of options, all you can to to avoid is jump and cutback. If you could do like a dive to avoid a bullet that'd be cool. That and the ability to go prone...

ok, this is kinda a long one...

first off, it's a multiplayer gametype with a special map. this is for the people who dont have xbox live, but it can still be used on it. 4 people on it only. the map is a huge area where the main area is like blood gulch, a huge canyon that's one long race. there are 3 places that 3 of the people appear at, a desert, a beach, and an icy range. the other player starts off at one end of the canyon. the point of the game is to get to a base at one end of the canyon. but the catch is that your whole team needs to be there before you can startr scoring. to score, you just kill as many covies as possible, getting most points for the stronger covies, and less points for the weaker ones. also, your not on the same team. so if someone steals your kills, you can kill them, but your down a teamate. One life each. So imagine this, you start off in the forest, and you run into a group of covies patrols. So u kill them, take the ghost, and speed off. when you get to the part that branches off into the canyon, you see a teamate getting chased by many covies , so u whip out a sniper, and give him cover to get to a base. once that's done, you hightail it out of there on your ghost. To pick up human weapons, there are dead marines scattered around the place with weapons on them.
That is just my; idea, is h0pe u like it.

It wouldnt affect the gameplay much but it would be cool if a pelican would drop off vehicles insted of the just respawning. By the way everyone had some awsome ideas
