Oh yes

I just did. It's on Silent Cartographer. Run into the sea, and eventually it gets deep enough that you're underwater.

I didn't see anything in the first few pages of a search. Also, your gun works.

Yep. Pretty unrealistic, considering. You go out two hundred feet and your head finally sinks under the water.

Welcome to 2001!

But yes, it is rather absurd. How we love your ridiculously incredibly unrealistic games, Bungie.

Why's it absurd? He weighs a lot, so he'd sink to the bottom. And if you went too far out, I guess you would run out of air.

It's better than an invisible wall.

You don't think they have those here? We have that and something worse: actual walls.

I know... but I'm saying it's better than just running up against an invisible wall if you try to walk into the water.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

And the marines would die either.

Sighness

Indubidubly. Banana.

In Keyes, you also get submerged in some liquid substance when you jump out of the ship but that has nothing to do with anything X)

>_>. MC swimming, that'd be fun to see.

OMG!!! That's what the X button does in Halo 3!!!

You can see that every time you stand on a grenade pile and drop one!

Yes I did. I always wondered why the marines never asphyxiated. And I learned that, if you keep going out and out and out, eventually you will go back the island. It's like a miniature planet, with the sphere shape.

No it's not. Stop telling porkies. You hit an invisible wall a little way past the depth you can completely submerge the hog.

I didn;t I kept going straight, then I ended up on the other side of the island.

There are actually invesible wals if you go deep enough (my friend and I did this). The MC wouldn't drown because his suit has an intregal oxygen supply.

I didn't explore that, interesting. In halo 2, it's the same thing, you can survive, but your marines, for some odd reason won't drown. Neither will elites.

You realized that just now? I realized it about 4 years ago. It was one of the first things I tried on the Silent Cartographer.
EDIT: Sorry, you realized it 6 days ago, my bad.

Once my friend and I got lost going back to the island, we were running around in circles, and waiting to see if the marines drowned but that never happened, so we jumped up the short cliff like thing and went deaper until the invisible walls, then we turned back and ran(and jumping) around in circles.
I can't believe theres actually a checkpoint in the waters
