Somewhere i read that HALO 2 will actually let u record ur multiplayer matches to ur hard drive. I am not sure if i read it here or somehwere else but that article said it was a fact. Hmmm I love the idea of that but i am more inclined to believe that it is a hoax. Any body have any links to artciles stating if it's true or not?

That would be awesome...especailly if it could be from a 3rd person perspective! But, yeah, it's probably a hoax.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. It would be easy to get all those HUD-less screens that are all the rage. Even if Bungie were planning this feature, it certainly wouldn't be very high on their priorities list. I wouldn't hold your breath.

Halo 2 will have these replays for singleplayer too. Remember that Bungie's Myth games and the Marathon games all had replay modes.

It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to implement (what do i know?) - it'd be like my old Quake 2 days again ;)

There is a way you can do that with halo pc or halo xbox. im not sure which but there is a hiliarious internet show called red vs. blue where they record and then add voices. go to www.redvsblue.com to download it.

Having the replay would make it so much more fun to record and edit a movie. Best would be if you could switch perspective in the replay (1st person, 3rd person).

yes there r ways albeit not very easy ways (4 some of us) but what they r talking about is a function in Halo 2 that lets u replay them. not hooking them up through ur pc and recording them or vcr or whatever. The way they made redvsblue is through a program called machinema.

if they don't get that in before release, that would be a great Downloadable Content, I'd pay a few bucks for it too...
