1)The other night, I was playing on a server that, as far as I could tell, was not modded. A player did a dive roll to the side, like the Elites do in campaign. I'd never seen that. Is it possible? What key combo would be needed to do it?

2)Tonight, on the SOC server, (not modded), on Infinity, an opposing playergrabbed the flag and jumped off the pyramid. It did not seem like he got in a vehicle. I thought he may have ducked under the pyramid as there was a bit of chaos going on and might try a sneaky move and stay under the base while a teammate in a shee or hog took off, leading us to think they had it.

In the time I saw the flag snatched and I went up the ramp after him, ( I was to the right of the pyramid), and jumped down to check under the base, he SCORED. It took no more than 2 or 3 seconds from snatch to score.

I asked "how?" and was told "magic beans." Is there a hack or something that can get you from base to base in 3 seconds? I don't think any SOC players were left when this happened, just random players.

The only thing I can think of would be to jump in a shee, fly to the TP, jump through into a waiting shee, fly across the canyon, jump through the other TP, into another shee or ghost and over to your flag to score. And even that should take longer.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

well to answer number 1 it is possible that there was some kind of hack installed on the map in the server that allowed campaign only 3d model animations to be displayed in multiplayer, either that or i dont know, and for that infinity level id guess that there was a secret teleporter on that pyramid that teleported a player exactly to the other bases flag point, so that SOC server must have been modded, either that, or a your halo is screwing up and b those SOC players must of had some nifty hacks.

1) No. I highly doubt it. That seems incredibly unlikely. How could you tell it wasn't modded?

2) Again, "How could you tell it wasn't modded?"

I don't think that Soldier of Christ{SOC} clan would have hacks on their server. It is rumored that the first set of tablets that Moses broke contained an 11th commandment: Thou shalt not hackin in on-line gaming.

They also follow the other commandments pretty damned well too, like "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's sniper rifle." or "Thou shalt not kill."
