me and my friens play without motion tracker and thats about it untill.............. alex decied to make an odball game with 15 min, max suiside, growth and respawn, sidewinder, rifels only, 400% with shields, oh did i mention that there was no nav points or nuthin like that, ya it was -blam!-

This game type that some drigit from seneca falls made up called hackers. -blam!-,
just shotguns, ffa, no shields and no radar, -blam!- on any level but worst on hang em high.

Hey what's up everyone... I'm working on a little story for the site and I wanted to get some feedback/ideas from you guys. You see, this past week after E3 I went to participate in a good ole fashioned LAN party at some peeps house. Well, all was fun and good until inevitably someone fires up what just might be the worst possible gametype settings imagineable. I'm talking 16 player oddball, invisible players, 16 balls on Chiron TL34... Yeah, exactly.

So, have you encountered any games during your own LAN events that make you cringe at the mere thought of them? A gametype so horrendous that it manages to suck every last bit of fun out of the game? If you have an experience to share, send me a message or you can reply to this post...

16 players no shield battle creek you die as soon as you respawn you die o and did i saw no teams slayer

Ah yes. How bout 4 on 1, team slayer, invisible, no team markers, no radar, rockets, on any map? The lone guy TOOLS the rest, because he doesn't have to worry about who he shoots. Last game we did went 50 to -3.

i think the worst would be cloaked ctf with 16 players at blood gulch without friend indicators. everyone would be shooting everyone and the flag would never get captured. SUCKY!

Heres a GOOD gametype. Ok:
Wizard
Rockets Only
4-8 players
Team Slayer
10-15 kills
All Invisible
NO indicators whatsoever (including radar)

Carnage. And before anyone flames me try it. Its hillarious if you're all in the same room trying to plan it out.

I don't have too many friends with Xboxs so I don't get in on any LAN parties but here it goes.
The only people I can get to play Halo with me are my girl friends kids who are 7 and 9.
Imagine playing on Sidewinder with 3 people, snipers only, no radar, all stealth and 50 kills on slayer. Yeah, loads of fun let me tell you.

That would definately have to be 16 player capture the flag on Hanh-em-High. You cant go anywhere without getting blown up by a rocket launcher or a grenade, and the time it takes your opponent to get your flag and go back to their base is like 10 seconds.

Personally the worst gametype for me is this:
A level as small as Wizard
Invisibility
Alien weopns only
4000% shields
And 50 frags
With 5 to 7 people (did i mention this was team slayer with nothing to tell if they are ure team members or not)
I mean it just sucks and its boring as heck excluding the part where u accidentally kill one of your dudes. Don't know how unless ure using grenades.

*50 kills to win
*no radar, nav points or green triangles
*Needlers only
*Itwas extremely boring...Worst game i had ever played... it sucked...

Invisible players, snipers, king of the hill, and it was on bording action. It took 16 players two and a half hours to get 15 min of hill time, alot of slapes

Shotguns,16 players, and infinite grenades in "Longest." Chaos, people running around aimlessly, and extreme slowdown.
