There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who know binary, and those who don't.
we called it trench warfare. It was at hang em high, a normal deathmatch. no shields, 150 health, and assault rifles and shotguns only. each team got one of the bunkers on ground level(the trenches) and then you had to try to pick off the other team or charge out across a serverly restricted path straight into their trench as a charge. only plasma grenades were allowed, and could only be thrown from your own trench. Seems like it could actually work out ok...
Except that you couldnt control the respawns, so the enemy would spawn in or behind your trench, no one could figure out whose trench was theirs, people were constantly moving through the "forbidden" upper and surrounding areas, pistols were constantly snuck in, and a single frag thrown into a bunker could wipe out an entire team. not to mention the "howitzers"(grenades) were rarely ever thrown from the trenches, rather on the front lines. and then someone grabbed the invisibilty, while anohter guy rabbed the sniper, and then the invisible guy grabbed the rockets. it all went downhill form there as all hell broke loose. we tried again at longest using capture the flag, which worked much better, but still failed miserably to do constant infringment of the unenforcable rule that had been established. this is the last time we try to base a halo game on our world war one chapter in world history.
