No, there is no practical way to "huk" up to xbox live, not that this is an xbox live forum.

Is it just me or did it just get a whole lot dumber in here...

First dumb thing: This is a PC forum, not the Xbox forum.

Second dumb thing: You didn't read the manual. If you did you may have noticed that Xbox Live requires broadband,

Third dumb thing: You use AOL.

Grow a few more brain cells and then come back. You might even get a decent response.

And plus, AOL's pretty much dead now. It gave up its rights to its members-exclusive AOL mail (...@aol.com...) to NetZero, Time Warner Cable, etc. They're constantly lowering monthly fees, and they hardly ever do any of those cool commercials anymore.

AOL and other dial-up connections FTL!!!

DSL and Cable connections FTW!!!!!!!!!!

AOL has got to be one of the worst internet service providers I have ever had the misfortune to use. It's slow, it's unreliable, a snail moves faster than this connection, the customer support (or lack there of) is absolutely absurd. It's insanely retarded to the point that I laugh at anybody who uses this pathetic excuse of a dial-up service.

Basically, AOL makes me LOL. Remember that, AOL=LOL.

By the way, if you could pay any attention, you'd realize that this is the Maw, which is our forum meant specifically for Halo PC/H2 Vista discussion. Not Xboxes or Xbox Live, thank you very much. Another thing, once again, if you could pay any attention to things, you would realize Xbox Live requires a broadband connection, which AOL sure as hell cannot provide.

Seriously, common sense.
