Em, make a new account and look at the member ID. That's one way. I was the 1976409th person to join Bungie.net! And you, slayer master, are the 1960119th person to join Bungie.net.

Move your cursor over your name, and you'll see what number you are.

Yeah, there are around 2 Million Members. But if I had to pull a number out of the blue, I'd say only a 1/4 of those have been active in the past year.

Hmmm.........maybe closer to half actually. Who knows......

I'm brand new, and I'm the 2,066,575 member. That's a lot. Imagine having that in your group, that be amazing.

Only problem with checking the uid's (User IDentification numbers) is that a whole bunch of them are destroyed accounts.
For example uid 7 is a destroyed / nonexistant account. In fact alot of the numbers are empty / deleted accounts. Try changing the uid to any other integer. Many won't work. Although 1 is Achronos.

I'm 1,636,363

There are currently 2 million and 76 members. Go to somebody's profile and change the uid number to 2000076. You can't go any higher than that (at the moment).

You can go higher than that, someone already showed they did:

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Yeah. Making a new account is a good way. I'm a pretty early member. I'm pretty sure I'm below the 50,000 mark.

EDIT: #26,337. Pwnt.
And #2,070,507 is the most recent account I could find.

RCG: In ur base, steelin' ur flagz. | Watch the demo, then join the carnage!

Yes, there's a member and user ID. Mine are the same (13,906) but for many people they are different.

To find your member ID, hover your cursor over your name (or click it and look at the end of the URL).

To find your user ID, use the user search feature to find your name, click it and look at the end of the URL.

I forget what the difference between the two is. =/

Interesting how no power of 7 is an active member...
Power of 7 = 7^n
IE = 7^2 = 49
7^3 = 343
And so on. And no, I am not going to check multiples of 7 (7xn)
-EDIT- Random member ID info: BB is the user in this thread with the least different numbers in his MID: 2. 2 and 7.
