GamerTag problems. Don't worry, I have full permission from one of the mods that I could do it.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

But you have to remember, 2 +million also counts all the deleted accounts. I'd guess there are about 1.5 million.

why two (memberID and uid)?

(or something like that, Didn't reply to his post so couldn't quote)
my best guess for why there is a memberID and a uid is that during the downtime not to long ago they updated the user system. They removed deleted entries in the user database and assigned every one new memberID's. They kept the uid's to keep old links people made working

I was wondering how KP has a member ID of 130 when I know that he was probably not introduced into the company until after a while. He must have been a close friend to Bungie if he has a member ID of 130, or is it that employees get a number before regular members.

Edit - I am member 999943. UID = 1018616. What is the difference?

P.S. I wonder who is 777?

Actually Kp had his account since 2001, a long time Bungie fan that became an employee somewhere this year.

Wow, so he was "just another fan?" (Pardon the pun, seriously lolz)

That's interesting. Who would have thought a fan of Bungie could become the face of the news and whatnot. Though I assume he must have had some connection other than being a fan, right?

Weren't Shishka, Stosh and even Joe Staten (I believe he was just a shorty who happened to play Myth) just fans at some point. You can say that they had the luck of getting into contact with the actual Bungie crew, and keeping that contact. But at some point they were just another fan...s.

I see no connections

I remember subscribing to OXM and reading Frankie's reviews. Shocking that a man who once use to tag team with Julian Brown in Ghost Recon is now Bungie's Content Monkey.

I appreciate the clarity guys (and thanks for the interesting link, EL.)

Yeah, I totally forgot Stosh and Shishka technically fall under the same category as KP. I guess me seeing KP write news and getting to work with Frankie made me believe he's a bit higher on the Bungie ladder (though he isn't a moderator...technically.)

Regardless, thanks!
