I cant wait to play halo 2 with hijacking options and stuff but i had a thought: wouldnt it be cool to be able to counter strike some one who is boarding u like by ramming in to a wall or something?

First of all, I think you should have used a different title. It reminds me of something not related to HALO 2, but I'm not sure what.
Second, You could just hit them going fast and they wouldn't have the option of boarding.
Third, If you are good you can just board them back.

I read the thing you wrote, but the title of the thread still reminds me of a crappy overrated nerd game.

Boarding is a very simple and quick process. All you do is press X at the right time and you knock the guy in the vehicle on his ass and you are now in. You do not have to bress X repeatedly until you manage enough strength to pull the guy out over a ten second period. You have no time to react. So, the only way to keep your ride is to prevent or do it back.

That's been making me think about the boarding thing for a long time. I mean "How will I get this guy off my Ghost before he feeds me his/her boot in my face ?! "

yeah but in both of the E3 movies it shows them just sitting there on the ghost 4 like 3 seconds or so then they kick. i was thinking maybe u press "X" to get on then "X" again to kick them off again? or maybe hold "X" to get on then release "X" to kick them off.

i read a hands-on review of halo 2 at E3 '04 and they said that if you speed up at the right time then the person attempting to board your vehicle will fall off.

and dont ask which one said that because i read so many and am not sure which review had it
