i read in oxm that the levels are 4 times larger than aotcr, so does that mean you move faster, maybe go into a pelican and fly to next part, or that instead of a level taking an hour it will take 4?

actaully, its been said that you can't fly pelicans in halo 2. so, ghosts, banshees, warthogs, tanks and your feet are just gonna have to get you there!

EDIT: i know i missed some vehicles. i'm just to lazy to put the rest in.

Lol, you said it.

It figures that the levels will be bigger. I mean, AOTCR was big, but not that big (by video game standards now days). Levels that are bigger might be like big battles that you just run through. Or maybe like the Pelican thing. Remember the picture where the Pelican is getting shot down and the ODSTs are jumping, and the Chief is just hanging there. Kinda like that, only bigger.

if so, the need for vehicles will be become more important and because of their new system of destruction, a safe ride isnt garantueed. Getting to the other side of the level will be harder, there will be more vehicles, but with that more explosions, more danger, more deaths. Bungie made a really clever disscion, by putting these two elements together, great job....

I'm aiming driveable vehicles are going to be the main transportation to get around larger levels. But we never know if there are other faster vehicles that are going to be incorporated into the game.

:-D

I think there will be parts of the level were you are flown by a Pelican, and you have to work the chaingun at the back of the Pelican. It would be awesome and spicy up the game. This is similar to the 2003 E3 demo, where the Marines were driving you around and you had to shoot.
Would be awesome!

And remember, you can hook up a warthog to the bottom of your Pelican. =P

Maybe a Pelican will pick you up during the middle of the level and fly you to another checkpoint. I hope the levels are HUGE and there are a TON of them.
