I love macs but every time i wanna do something that involves windows stuff yea... i bet everyone in bungie uses windows and the themebuilder application they made just doesnt work for me. i'm wonderin if ne one here had/has the same problem, ne suggestions? thanx

It's not an application. It's just html, css, and image files. If your mac can surf the web it can make themes. Theme builder is not platform dependent.

I'm going to guess you've never used a .zip file before.

Go to http://www.versiontracker.com and get yourself a copy of ZipIt. Drag the themebuilder.zip file onto the zipit icon, and choose where you wish to expand the files into. This should give you a directory full of images, html, and css files.

Thought Panther supported tar -z (or tar -bzip) from command console.

It does. But you dont really need the console, the new versions of stuffit will unzip stuff.

And Stuffit is a free download and should have come on your mac.
