Reason i am putting this here is
1. New mombasa blows (in a manner of speaking)
2. Everyone here has a bit of intelligence.
3. Cuz its something that needs to be addressed.

I play on XBConnect a lot. The program itself has a lot of loop holes and what not. But the main point im trying to get across is about: all these people playing halo 2 on xbconnect. What my question is, why isnt anything being done? All that was done was a small note from the admins stating not to play it , and to delete it. Well in all honesty who in their right mind once they have the game is going to delete the damn thing? I have yet to hear about anyone being "caught" with the game let alone microsoft/bungie catching the crook who started this all. Everyone moans and groans about the piracy.. But it is my opinion that microsoft doesn't care or have the resources to catch someone. It is also my opinion to believe that once someone connects to xbconnect or any website for that matter. It can be easily had a dns lookup on it to see what internet provider it is.. AND also easy enough to see whom has the ip be it a DHCP server or a static ip. YET still nothing..

i'm sure MS cares more about those people who are leaking it etc. i doubt they waste their time to file subpoenas just to get some kids who are playing it. and it's gonna be even harder for them to prove that they're playing it.

Ah...I wouldn't worry. Microsoft will have the guys that stole the game sleeping with the same sex soon enough.

Can I worry anyway? I don't want some crazed luny spoiling the plot on xbl for everyone else (as i probably won't have xbl when halo 2 launches). Practically everyone who's downloaded the game, are going to be buying it anyway. Except they'll know what's going to happen.

You probably won't ever hear about people getting in trouble.

But believe me. People are getting in trouble.
