It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

I think what he's trying to say is that Bungie has their own reasons which we don't know. Be them good reasons or not, we don't know what they are and Bungie does. We'll just have to assume they know what they're doing.
What's your point? 99.999999% of what goes on in any industry is behind closed doors. I know that, I'm not an idiot. All I'm saying, is that they really should make some sort of news article about it or something. Let the people know a little more information. They knew an announcement of 5 slots in New Zealand and 10 slots in Australia would cause some sort of upset, so why not stop it by posting a little article? Even a simple "we know the numbers seem low now, but they will rise sooner or later". Even that would help people understand what's going on a little more. Am I right or am I right?
You have a decent argument, but that doesn't make you right.
I'm not calling you an idiot. Don't twist my words so you can victimize yourself. I probably didn't make the point of my post very clear, which happens from time to time.
What I was trying to say is that Bungie knows things that we don't, and they have a plan that they're following. I'm sure they have a reason for not posting details on later events to get into the Beta. We don't know their plan, they do. There's nothing we can do but wait and assume that they have a good reason for not posting the details.
In one sentence, they have a reason for not posting a news article about it, and their reason is behind closed doors.

"Something > Nothing" may be a true statement like you siad, but when you're stuck in that 'Nothing' category (i.e. 99.9% of Aussie Halo fans), it will piss you off. No question about it.
It wouldn't piss you off if 100% of fans were in the "nothing" category though, because you'd have no idea that anything fu was going on in the first place. Imagine if Bungie hadn't announced a beta at all. You wouldn't have been angry, because you never would have thought you could get into a beta. Just be happy for the .000004% that you have at the moment.
