When I first heard/saw the rocket-launcher's new ablitity, that is, that once you aim at a vehicle and fire the rockets will follow it and get a no-miss hit I was scared. I thought it was just taking the skill out of the game, I mean rockets arent everything of course, but it still has an effect. People like Halo so much because of the accuracy and awesome gameplay, and I thought its lame that the rockets can automatically track, no more careful planning to aim in front of that moving worthog in which you know the passenger has the flag, you have to aim carefully for this one! No, just aim on it and shoot and you have a direct hit no matter what. Vehicles do have an advantage, and its not like everyone is carrying a rocket launcher to begin with, but still, vehicles being destructable seemed like it would even that out.. I dont know if I'm alone in this, what do you guys think?

yeah, new mombasa but ill reply anyway

from what i heard you have to aim the rocket just right on the vehicle adn then the rocket will track it and turn only slightly (not a gauranteed hit), but if it does what you said it does then im staying away from vehicles

Tracking rockets is lame... and if vehicles don't respawn then i know some of my friends i play lan with will surely blow them up just so i can't get a descent ride and bring death to them.

yeah, i dont see rocket games working out or having the same fun with em. plus it is the most awsome thing ever whenever you dodge like three rockets heading for you or when you see one streak by you go oh crap! whatll really be crappy is when you come across a flood with a rocket launcher like in two betrayals and youre syuck cuz you wont beable to dodge like you did in the first one.

i see the tracking rocket as taking the skill out of a game for example me and my friends will play in sidewinder and try to hit each other with one on the bridge and the other up in a base, I mean for butmunchers thats hard and takes skill to aim it just right.

Definatly taking the skill outta the game...I remember back when I would be at one teleporter in BG trying to hit a WH that has our flag at the other telelporter or what not...it was fun and challenging.....maybe they made the damage ratio lower in vehicles now that tracking is on

BTW post Halo2 stuff in New Mombas
