This is something I have never known and just up until now wanted to know. So does anybody know how you can link to a certain person's post? If so give me instructions.

My guess would be to type the author/topic into the search feature. Click on the appropriate post. The link in your browser should be the one you would need.

That works, or if you don't like the search feature (?) when you reply to a certain post, the URL shows the post number (ie. Wyatt's post is number 9332859). If I copy that number and replace the number in another link, it'll link to the post.

So the thread is http://admin.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=9332503, and you just replace the number in italics with the number from the reply to post URL.

Or... just use the search feature.

I use the second method, it's really not too hard once you get the hang of it.

Check out the Septagon Stickies, there's a thread called "A Guide to Linking and its Finer Points" that has loads of useful info. =)
