I like the PS2 Controller. It's not the best (Controller S) but it's not the worst (Gamecube). The S-pad is GREAT for first person shooters, the Gamecube controller is GREAT for adventure games (Mario Sunshine, Zelda: WW), and the PS2 controller covers everything in between. It has a symmetrical layout which is perfect for games like Tony Hawk and Soul Calibur 2, and the set-up is at least functional for every type of game, including shooters (Timesplitters 2, Medal of Honor, though I never liked those games) and adventure games (Jak and Daxter 1+2, Ratchet and Clank 1+2, Sly Cooper, Maximo, THAT list goes on and on). The PS2 controller is the most well rounded controller, suited for any gaming task. The Gamecube controller is really specialized and only works really well for certain games (namely nintendo's own games), but i guess no one is talking about Gamecube, so forget that. I still like xbox the most, and i like it's controller the most, but i also really appreciate the great design of the PS2 controller. On that note, people who use "-blam!-" as an adjective for inanimate objects and concepts are morons.
