Yeah, we only worry about leaks, and we don't know the real story anyway. Although Sketchfactor asked Eagle 117 to stop posting theories because he was getting too close to the tru7h.

Eagle's inbox is filling up with messages thanks to you.

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

I'm not sure about deleting accurate predictions, but Shishka has confirmed that the shield grenade is in fact, not a grenade.

Bungie listens to its fans! ^.^ | Ninja .II./ You
RCG: In ur base, steelin' ur flagz. | Watch the demo, then join the carnage!

I am under the impression that the only ones who know anything about the plot are Frankie, Achronos and Shishka (50/50 on that one).

Surely any Bungie employee would know... For instance, I'd have added KP and Stosh to that list.

I'd like to know the penalty for breach of the NDA.

Aren't they contract employees? That's why I put 50/50 on Shishka, he's not a full employee, right?

Edit:

And by that I mean that I believe they don't know everything. The artist formerly known as Ninja On Fire is also contract I believe and he only deals with MP.

I think BobBQ is the youngest mod.

I am legally an adult. That makes me older than TGP, for starters.

Shouldn't you be thinking about getting rid of your hand painted D&D miniature collection then?

No one touches the Oscar Goldman action figure!

Sounds like someone's still mad his mom threw out his Six Million Dollar Man action figure with the Kung Fu grip.

Let. It. Go.

well, hypothetically, let's say someone figured out an accurate synopsis of Halo 3's plot, and the mods of this site saw it. would they delete the topic?

We wouldn't know it was an accurate synopsis until the game came out. We're volunteers, not Bungie staffers, and have absolutely no access to any Halo material beyond what the rest of us fans do.

-- Steve isn't certain he'd want to have the game spoiled for him in that manner, himself.

At this point I wonder if half the Bungie staff knows the whole story. The video game world is one of secrets lest others steal bright ideas or go Sp0ilzorz.

How are they supposed to know what is accurate? They know nothing of Halo 3's plot.

Absolutely not. That'd involve disclosing the plot and features to them in the first place, not to mention the fact that people would notice when their perfectly decent thread was deleted for no reason.

Every once in a while someone nails something, normally as a part of larger, incredibly wrong theory, but it happens. :)

I would expect Bungie to want us to theorize. Think about it. If we nail it right, they'll just tweak the plot so we'll be wrong, even if we were originally right.

Do you really expect us to believe you? Because you work for Bungie, that gives us even more reason not to trust you; you're just covering up for the moderators.

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

I smell malarkey.

Does Bungie's community team really know the storyline and uber details of Halo 3?

I enjoy them a bunch, as they mean that we're not all a bunch of drooling trogs waiting for our next game disk.

Although I havent even seen anything he's posted, other than the links that you have put on some of your "Theories".

Someone needs to calm down. Don't go accusing people unless you have evidence, real evidence.

You're speaking of Chaplain, right? lol... good times

Btw, he's in the Marines now.

I'll be on my own side.

Man, I remember when Chaplain was a hard-headed jerk who did nothing but pass off his poorly formed theories as tru7h. He sure did change.

KP, can you tell us a few things that got nailed before Halo 2's release?

  • 12.08.2006 10:19 PM PDT

that which is not dead can eternal lie, but with strange aeons even death may die.

I must say, It is an Honor to finally hear from Eagle 117. The Man himself.

The only person to give Frankie a Run for his money on the cool meter...
