You can't directly post pictures onto the boards, but you can get an account at Imageshack, or someplace, and then put a link to the picture.

Do you mean loading the pictures to you computer, and not the 'net? To load picuters to your computer, you either link a digital camera to a USB port, or just scan a regular picture with some kind of scanner.

After that, I'm a little hazy on where you can go to get a host for your pictures, but try looking for imageshack and photobucket. If in doubt, google for a hosting site and you should be able to find something.

Starting to sound like the Abbot and Costello “Who’s on First?” routine.

1) With a digital or non-digital camera, take pictures.
2) If digital, upload the photos from the camera to a computer hard drive.
3) If non-digital, have the pictures developed. Then scan them. Collect the image files on a computer hard drive.
4) Go to an image hosting site on the Internet. Several are mentioned in this thread. Many are free.
5) Upload your photos from the computer hard drive to the hosting site, per the site’s directions.
6) Read “Text Markup Tags,” right side of the screen, to reference the url to your photos in Forum posts.

I believe that’s simple enough.

(Right: try explaining that to my elderly father, or a ten year old. Same difference.)

Now why didn't I think of making it that simple, and all in one post? I guess it's 'cause you're a superuser, operating on a higher plane of existence, and I'm just a lowly member.

*sigh*

EDIT: *giggles* I checked out the Abbott and Costello skit, and I loved it! Thanks for mentioning it Blondebeard! Here's a link to both the words and a recording of the exchange. It's better listening to it though, fo sho.
