It looks and sounds good, but it looks like your puting all the slugs in the chamber at the same time. Maybe you should put some sort of magazine on the top so ther's a place fore the slugs to go. Still , I like it.
The magazine is on the bottom, and the shells are going into it. When you pump, one of them is levered into the chamber, and the firing pin is pulled back. When you pull the trigger, the firing pin is released, it strikes the primer on the shell, that ignites the powder, the expanding gasses from the powder push out the shot or slug.
There you go, the answer to how the standard shotgun works.
