I just got done reading First Strike and it was awesome. I want to know if and when they are going to put out the fourth one. I want to know what Dr. Halsey is going to do with Kelly. Does anyone know anything.

Sorry, can't help you. I have never been able to read the books, but I plan to get them soon. Before Halo 2 is released.

I don't think they have said anything about a 4th book, but hopefully our questions will be answered in Halo 2

:P I just finished re-reading all three... there will most likely be a fourth book... I'm not so sure on the whole 5th & 6th idea - that would imply that the story doesn't end with Halo 2 (*prays that it doesn't*) No idea what Dr. Hasley is doing with Kelly... i'm guessing Halo 2 will hold the answers XD

Yes the novels that I read were pretty good. I thought that the novel Halo: The Flood was the same as the Halo game is this true or not because if you guys played through the game and then would read that book maybe it isn't.

The Flood is based on the game. Each chapter of the game is representeed in the book, but dont let that stop you from reading the book. It is a good read with more insight to the characters, Will Dietz is a past Marine corp. medic & he gives good insight to the character thoughts & feelings from an ex-millitary point of view.

that's great!! after reading First Strike it left me waiting on the edge of a cliff going 100 mph (generally speaking) for the next book. with Kelly kidnapped and Fred, Linda and Will going with the MC to Earth what's going to happen? i hope the new books answer these questions, but i can't wait!

More books? Deffinitely. The Xbox2 has been officially anounced, and it's been officially "mentioned" (though I can't recall where) that Halo 3 will be a launch title, just like Halo1/Xbox1. Thus, the story continues. And Bungie/MS is damn certain they'll have even more fans after the release of Halo 2. So to NOT make more books would be silly.

There was a rumor a while back, i dont know if it got stopped or what, but it said that there will most liklely be 9 halos, with the 9th being the covenant homeworld. If this is true then there will probably be about 27 books in all.
O and im not saying im a slow reader, i just was doing it during school and i had a lot of homework, it really only took a few hours..just spread over a few days.

we still have a couple halos to destroy... and no there isnt 9. theres 5 that equally span across the universe. thats why they said halo could destroy the universe even though its blast isnt nearly big enough to do so (each blast chain reacts with another until all 5 have gone off and there is nothing left). just more perfect books unless that dumbass who made the flood writes them.
