An IP ban would be a much more effective option. And sure, there are people who run on shifting IP's and those with access to multiple computers, but all in all, you will eventually ban them permantently, at least if they have limited access to multiple PC's.

The shifting is a little harder, but then again those arent that incredibly common, especially not on a forum like this one with so many "low tech" members. Of course, im not trying to be baised or mean with that comment, but im just stating a fact that many people on these forums either dont visit more than a couple gaming forums online or this is the only one they go to. Many just dont really have too much online expreince and/or arent too computer savy.

Cortana 5 is a carbon-based lifeform that frequently visits these forums, currently residing in the United States. Practically every male on the site responds to her posts.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

Well, There is a good reason to keep it the way it is. The boards can be glitchy at times. I've sometimes seen the edit post button on other people's posts. Or, when I log out, it lets me post. So, if you were blacklisted, but could still see the fourms, a glitch could come up and let you post. Just a thought.

I believe you forgot the 'Vote - logout - login - vote' glitch. Very fun.

Haha, IP bans, they're the new craze or something, everyone wants that. Nah it wouldn't work, regardless of rotating IPs etc, what if a school computer or a family computer was locked? Someone else will be a bit pissed.

here's something that does annoy me though... while on the topic of Black Listings...

If your are signed out the forums are still kinda fun to read. Thats what I did when I got blacklisted by Recon for Scans when that first Halo 3 stuff was released.
