I'm pretty much getting the hang of the Theme Builder with one exception. What exactly is the ArrowLeftMouse.gif and other .gif files with the letters L, H, V for? I tried to change it, but nothing happened. Do I need just leave it the way it is when I submit the theme or what? Any help would be great!

I just filled them with the second pallete colour to make them transparent.

An amazing way to check which files do what is to look in the default_theme_example folder, and find the corresponding file name. You'll see the images that make up the Default groups theme, and thus, know what it is used for.

Well, there are only two available right now, but to change them you need to be go to Group Settings under Home.

Just accept thier illogical bungie designations.

What i want to know is why it is windows only and if bungie has abandoned their rebeliously cool mac user base.

It is NOT windows only! Jaysus! Go to macupdate and find a tool to unzip files. Then read the read me. It's just html, css, and images. If you mac can surf the web then it can make a theme. Come on, man! Don't dis bungie.

To answer the first question...all of the lhv images are arrows. You put one arrow in each section of L, H, or V and they make an animation if you put them in the right order.

Alright, I figured out the arrows and stuff and it all looks really good, but now when I try to manipulate the styles.css file with some different color text, something always ends up missing (link a resourses bar or something). I wanting to change my texts colors to black and dark grays, but so far nothing has changed (and yes, I've used the correct codes like #000000 for black, etc.). Can anyone tell me a text editor that will actually work for mac users in changing the styles.css file? I've tried both Appleworks and TextEdit and so far, they've both screwed up my theme in some way. Maybe I'm not doing something right.

I like Tex-edit, myself, for writing HTML or CSS on a Mac.get it at Tex-edit.com. (Although, as long as you save it as a text file with a .css extension, any word processor should do it.)

The "V H L" in the arrows stand for "Visited, Hover, Link".

Link is the normal arrow.
Hover is the arrow that appears when your mouse is over the link.
Visited is the arrow that appears when you have previously visited that link.

Hope that helps.
