Lately, well since I've been back. I've noticed very few moderatots posting. Can I ask why this is? Is it just bad timing that I'm on. Have mods seperated themselves from the community. Just wondering.

It could be any number of reasons. Maybe you're just seeing things (or in this case, not seeing things), or maybe the mods are all busier in their outside lives, all by pure coincidence.

Not seeing a ninja is not necessarily proof that there are no ninjas present.

I never said that. I know they're there. They're just so distant.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Does it matter if they post alot or not?

Alls that counts is that they chop and kick trolls!

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

Well, I think what the OP means is that he is seeing less interaction by Ninja's in the community. Not that they aren't doing their jobs of locking or moving threads, but I think he is saying that is all they seem to be doing. I mean, when is the last time you saw a post by a mod in a forum outside the flood? I mean, Recon had a post in the Underground a week ago talking about mystic desks...but other then that, not much. Now, I know that the mods are busy and whatnot, and when they are on B.net unfortunately most of their time goes to policing, but it would nice to see some things from mods that probably got them to be mods...participating in the community.

Narwhallace Smithington: Gone, but not forgotten. Never approve of anything lil guy. <3
Furious George: The new -blam!-

I believe I talked to Chris about moderators and such in the IRC before, but this never came up. I can't remember which mod I talked to this about with, maybe it was Chris, maybe it wasn't. Oh well.

They can interact but they have to be even more careful with what they say. As Recon says, time and time again, they are regular members (with a few added things) but I think they'd like to be treated like regular members. They don't act like they're better than you, you put them up above yourself ("you" as in people in general). Well, having been "placed above" everyone, they have to be very careful with what they say. I think that could be one reason they don't talk as much as we'd like. Hell, I'd love to see mods post random things in The Flood and other places. I'd like them to be seen and heard (well...seen...again).

The Frozen Minority - The most infamous clan borne from the Seventh Column.

Well I've been very active over the last week, more than usual. Though many of the Ninja are busy this time of year. Christmas does that to everyone, even those with shurikens.

Yeah it seems over the past couple weeks, I've gotten to know Pezza, Toast and Recon much better.

I've seen them about a fair amount recently. Recon is here most of the time when I am. Pezza, BobBQ, JAF and Ghandi are posting quite a bit.
