I recently saw a halo pc video of a multiplayer game with a really dark indoor environment. Not so dark that you couldn't see anything but dark enough that people were all using there flashlights. This would be really sweet if they did this for halo 2, or at least leave it as an option. Having dark levels opens new possibilitis, like turning off your light and sneaking around and stuff like that.

Finally a use for night vision. Halo only had one level to use it on.

Maybe then the nighttime mode's activation could possibly turn off camo spawns? That way it would be some really sweet night camping... XD

Plus at E3, they were walking about (and in articles i read) that maybe Halo 2 won't have power ups, or just not powerups to the extebt halo 1 did.

What? Why not? Powerups are always fun because they slightly give the user an advantage. It adds spice to otherwise straightforward multiplay match.

What would make things really interesting would be real-time day progression in multiplayer. Say, after an hour or so of fighting in broad daylight, the sun finally sets and then the map is covered in darkness. Then you'd have to change up your tactics and have better stealth options. Aside from just making maps a little more interesting, this aspect would also alter and put a time limit on certain strategies.

Before any trolls chime in, I know this would never make it into Halo2, but either way it's still interesting to think about.

it would be cool if they gave Mr. chief heat vision. iv read the 2nd book written for halo the flood and wat hapens is elites in camo raid a human facility on the ring world and the humans use heat vision to find them.

Weather control, time of day control, visible environment change from weather with changing weather, so like, lets say its raining a bunch, then its nighttime, but where you are nights are much colder than normal earth stuff, so the ground starts turning to patches of ice, and its snowing instead, and the snow visibly layers on. Oh god that would be so awesome, but it would be options, I HOPE!

I would love it if they put in the thing I mentioned, and had some of the classic maps back, imagine a heat wave on sidewinder... you'd have pools of water everywhere. Blood Gulch frozen over, omfg the possibilities!! ::drools::

mmm. they said they've included various weather conditions for Halo 2. it'd be damn awesome if you could use them as a custom option in multiplayer games.

anyone remember reading about Master Chief having various gadgets in Halo 2? I'm not sure if I'm just making this up, but I seem to remember reading it in the FAQ or something awhile ago.

"Help Help I'm being repressed! Come and see the Violence inherent in the system!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh did you see that? you saw him repress me?"

Hate to burst the bubble, but i'm sure a pic like this came up before, and everyone flamed as its just a normal pic, but has been edited and some idiot made the sky dark and added a moon.

HOWEVER: If its not the same pic, think of small probs, a SR would rule with its Night Vision and tourches would suck as you could be seen. Also once you kill someone everyone else knows where you are so you might as well make it melee attacks only, i mean the ES and the PP will now suck! so will nearly every cov weapon!
