And it's your connection that's slower than turtle sex.

In........................................................Out .

Anyway, I was playing halo PC, when we switched to a new server, and I could've sworn I was running faster than normal, I kept running that speed the whole game, then, the next game, it seemed back to normal, Is it just me or what is it?

They were probobly lagging. Sometimes, the server makes all players with a good connection go faster so everyone can catch up to where they were. But if It happened all game, I'd say it was a glitch that had to do with another players lag.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Some gametypes have conditions that make a player run faster. Like if you're the Juggernaut, or you get a speed bonus for kills. It's normal.

If you were running faster and doing everything faster than normal, but then every so often warping back to normal, you have a dual core processor, and a rare issue where you need to turn off one core like me. Halo doesn't like mine and some other people's dual cores, and runs twice as fast, or sometimes gets more confused and can get up to 8 times as fast.

If everyone was going fast, then the host had the dual core issue.

That must have happened to me once, because I was getting accused of cheating (as usual) because I was running faster than normal and I have a Dual Core CPU.

Well it's like using a mod, either it'll affect everyone if the host has it, but everyone except the host warps around, or it'll affect just the non-host who has it, but will look no different to others.

To clarify, it's only an issue with the AMD dual core.

In high definition baby!

It's something in the gametype. I think it is speed bonus. Like if you suck, you will go faster.

Well i am getting quite confused here. People mentioned Dual-Core CPU's making your speed plummet and rise, unless you only run one core. And other people saying about making you run faster. So are we talking about FPS or ingame running?

Try installing the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer software on the AMD Website if you have an AMD Dual Core Processor.

The software is used to help with timing issues in software that was coded for single core CPU's can have when running on an AMD Dual Core Processor.

To get it goto http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_ 182_871_13118,00.html

Even if it doesn't stop the glich in Halo it may help other software run better on your AMD dual core PC's

it's either a dual core problem, or you had a really good FPS for that game it happens to me occasionally.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

some game types have a setting where if you kill alot you become slower and if you die alot you run faster.
