I played through on Heroic and Legendary and I found the conflicts with the Brutes to be some of the most fun. Maybe because they could throw grenades clear across the screen, or because you knew if there was 3 and you killed 2, the last was going to go nuts and charge you, - which kills with on hits on these levels. I thought they were pretty cool. But hey there is always room for improvement. Come on guys are you telling me you didn't come to dislike Tarturus and his dogmatic behavior. I like the Brutes, because while the Elites are all noble and all that, the Brutes are more into the concept of profit and glory - screw nobility when all I really want to do is kill something.
I enjoyed the Arbiters b oards, specially the last one, when you have 2 hunters behind you, but the consensus is right, the battle should focus on the Chief. also, does any one remember those cool pics of the shock troops - now does anyone remember actually seeing them in the game.
OK 1 time you fight beside them all game. They were supposed to be the best of best marines. I dont' recall the board but it's when you are taking that hill with the aztec like ruin. They wer cool and Tactical like the Spartans but just human and not shielded. I sure hope we see more actions with them involved.
Gawd, something just hit me, what does a brute look like when he becomes a combat form? Ooooh, that could be a problem.
