Hey people, I've got some news to share. Anyways, here's the info on H2V. I guess the Live Anywhere service that you all know about is probably going to be called simply "LIVE", although I may be wrong about this one. There will also be "LIVE" achievements for Halo 2 Vista, to sort of fill in the void regarding the lack of achievements for Halo 2 on the 360. If you already have an Xbox Live account on the 360, your profile can be synchronized I assume, because on both platforms, you'll have the same friends list and messaging capabilities, I'm not sure about the recent webcam for the 360 but who cares about that? Apparently, you'll be able to play H2V online "at zero cost". But to take advantage of the party system you have to have a full Gold membership, which makes no sense at all. Technically, this information is news about H2V, just not as exciting as actual screenshots or gameplay videos. When I came across this info I also learned that ShadowRun will be one of Microsoft's cross-platform Xbox Live games, cool.
Edit: It also seems that there might be a demo, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Uh huh. Seeing as all this info has already been posted before. I really must thank you for repeating it.

Is this site affiliated with Microsoft or Bungie? Because I don't trust any info that doesn't come straight from either of those sources.

No problem lol, at least you didn't yell at me for re-posting some of that stuff, a mistake on my part. And as for the site, it is owned by Microsoft, as they have all their copyright information on the bottom of the page, you can even access the site through Microsoft.com, many people might not know about it because it was just launched around the time of the Thanksgiving holiday. You also wouldn't know about it if you haven't bought any new PC games from Microsoft Game Studios, because they have that blue label across the top of them, like on Company of Heroes or AoE 3: Warchiefs to name a few. No Refunds, I'm sorry that you don't like or trust me because my profile name on here is Gearbox, I don't see your reasoning for this but whatever.

People around here lost faith in Gearbox when they made the horible port of Halo from Xbox to PC.

When will you people learn that Gearbox was forced to make the game like it is my Microsoft and Bungie.

The netcode isn't my problem, that was Microsofts fault. But having horrible system requirments and loss of detail is there fault.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

That's irrelevent. Games don't exist in vacuums. Gearbox/Bungie/Microsoft never bothered to fix two simple problems with the game: Tkers and AFK. We've been asking Bungie for help for YEARS on this issue and they just ignore us. Their entire auto kick system for TKers must have been thought up by Bush's crack foreign policy team. And now they are too stubborn to admit it sucks and needs fixing. One easy way to fix the tking problem would be to reset the direct IP info each time you play. In other words, you have to manually enter the IP EACH TIME you use "direct IP multiplayer." There you go, 99% of TKers would be powerless.

Alas, Bungie will never fix anything because they want the game to suck enough that you buy Halo2. I ask you Bungie: what ever happened to taking pride in your work? Does no one at Bungie take any pride in Halo PC/Mac?

What? Of course not! Who said that?

I'm quite excited about the Games for Windows™ marketing campaign. I think it will be a real success; it will help make PC gaming more popular. Once I get my Internet connection back I'm adding GamesforWindows.com to my Favorites.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.
