And I'm sorry but being 12 is not being mature, and admitting it is really not being mature.

I wouldn't say that.

There's plenty of young (11-13) members here that behave more properly than older members.. Even if you can spell correctly and use fantastic grammar, it doesn't make you mature. Of course, there's plenty of profanity on both ends.

You're right on one thing, being mature does not involve good typing. Profanity can sometimes (rarely) be a good thing, just pay attention some time.

Also, I believe that if you think that you are mature your not, so please don't say you are, you're making yourself look pretty dumb.

And by the way, maturity hits in teens and not mid-teens. You cannot tell if someone on the internet or even on Xbox Live is mature or not. You could be "mature" on XBL and be the most perverted kid out there in real life by your friends.

I object, on the grounds that I know senior citizens who still aren't mature yet. Age alone doesn't bring maturity, alas.

I find the main problem is usually the reverse.

People can be much more rude here and in xbox live where we are anonymous, than in real life where there are more consequences. Shouting racists slurs or -blam!-ly harrassing women can have serious repercussions in real life.

And what about words that contain blam filtered words in the middle of them? I don't rembember what words, but I remember word I tried to use, and it had "blam" in the middle of it, I think it contained the "s" word.

When I was typing I don't know what I was thinking...I meant to type pre-teens and not mid-teens.

And the problem can be reversed, but you get the general idea.

And the usually part in it usually comes with age. Typing late at night doesn't help with the thought process.
