As requested by raptor, I've changed a reply of mine into a new thread, so that he can sort out his issue without me running off on a tangeant...
here i go... my self-indulgent little thread.
The first major incident was a permanent ban when I was having one of the best games of my life. I hadn't said a word, nobody was accusing me of botting, but without any warning..."the operator has banned you from this server." I was upset but shrugged it off and waited a few weeks. When the ban had still not been lifted, I went over to their forums and made a thread. Nobody owned up to banning me, and nobody could provide a reason why I was banned. After explaining I was not at fault over and over again, the ban was finally lifted.
Fast Forward to about a month ago. Again, I find myself playing extremely well, and suddenly am kicked without warning. I wait until another spot opens up again, get back in there, and am kicked again (3 seconds after joining) with no explanation. So I change my name, get back in there, and finish my game no problem.
I make another post on their forum, detailing what happened. Ripper steps up to the plate and says "you were botting, I was watching you..100% I know you were cheating STFU and enjoy your stay on the permanent ban list." The thread is then locked before I can reply.
I make another thread, explaining that I wasn't banned, I was kicked. I tell them I'd like them to watch me play again and tell me I'm cheating. I ask Ripper why he would only kick someone he thought was botting, as they'd be able to come right back into the server. He replies, at the height of maturity, with "I can ban you in a second. Be grateful I haven't. If you reply again I will ban you. I will take your lack of acknowledgment as understanding of this."
I held my tongue.
2 Days later, that second thread is deleted, leaving only the first thread which was locked after Ripper "owned" me for botting.
Bottom line: there are always people who abuse their power. I can't say whether Raptor or King are of this persuasion because I have no experience with them, but based on what happened between me and Ripper, I've learned if you want to play on someones server, you have to play by their "rules" (and I use that word very loosely). No amount of reasoning will get you anywhere with the type of people I've dealt with.
