What would I do with a nuclear weapon?
Well, if it were one of the old Minuteman or Titan class missiles, I would convert it into a spacecraft, and fill it with lots and lots of supplies, and blast off into orbit.
I would circle the sun, each time building up more and more speed. A few days before my ship would reach terminal velocity (in physics, the speed at which you travel so fast that time is distorted and travels very slowly) I would program the computer core to maintain the current orbit for exactly 548 years, then cryogenically freeze myself, shotgun in hand...
I would then enter terminal velocity at exactly 12:00 A.M GMT, November 9, 2004.
548 years later, my ancient ship, long believed to be nothing more than space debris, would re-activate. The Pentium 4 processor onboard would unfreeze me, and prepare for a splash-down off the east coast of Africa, nearby the city that was once called 'Mombasa."
I would emerge from my pod, lock and load my shotgun, and step ashore into New Mombasa.
Enough said.
