I've been around these parts for almost eight years now...wow! Maybe I should be concerned about that...

Alright. I just got a new graphics card for my PC. Before I got this card, my PC couldn't play games because the old graphic card didn't support 3-D. Anyways, I put this thing in and boot up Halo Custom Edition. I join a game. When I try to talk, it won't let me; the transparent box appears, but there's no cursor and if I type nothing shows up. It also won't display other people's comments or if I've killed someone. I've tried turning my firewall off, and it didn't help. I know it isnt the disk because I've used it on my laptop and it works fine. Do you have any idea what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

Oh, they are? Quite frankly I don't read the Stickies in most forums. I'll check that out...

Edit-The link isn't working. It takes me to the Halomaps homepage...

The file ProgramLog is talking about, it is msxmlenu.exe. Run the .exe and fix any corrupt files, following the directions. Whatever you do, don't try to reinstall the whole HaloPC, hoping it will fix the problem. It just makes it worse...trust me.

Indeed...maybe I need to select install before I try to repair the files? It puzzles me as well. Perhaps a kitten or two will jog my memory of such things...

Edit-Oh wait, there's no install option...the message I get, word for word, is:

A network error occured while attempting to read from the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\msxml.msi
