Do you ever read any of the topics that have like 10 paragraphs and it takes up your whole computer screen? I for one don't. I just read the posts and get what the topic is about.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I will of the first paragraph looks interesting. Or if the replys from other users make it look interesting.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Sometimes. It depends on the topic.

If it's boring after the first few sentences I stop reading. Or if the long post is by a ninja. Lots of white text hurts my eyes...

I for one read the long posts.

To actually reply to a topic, I have to understand exactly what the thread starter is talking about. If I don't read them, I'm usually lost.

For the people that just read the replies, and only skim the paragraphs, you could be missing a very important part to why he started the thread. Missing the one part that draws it all together usually ends up in confusion for the person who replies. Replying without thoroughly reading the entire post is not a good thing.

Rainman89: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

SpaceGhostFlyer: Jessie!
Butane: James!
sir_brilliant: Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light

sir_brilliant: Meowth, that's right!

I usually avoid them, as people who can't say things in under one paragraph obviously don't no how to be concise. That or, like Recon, they have ammassed so much wisdom, it can only be squeezed down into Ten thousand words. Sadly, since most folk are the first, and not the latter, I ignore all of them. Usually.

It depends who the thread's by. If the thread is by someone who I know talks sense, then I will probably read it, regardless of its length. But if it's by someone who I don't know of or I know rambles endlessly anyway, I won't bother.

lol i know what you are talking about. I try to read all it, and generally do, before posting. I cant stand people that read a few words and post something that is always random/stupid.

while what i think may be dumb, i dont want to be uninformed. i dont need any more handicaps.

I am...whimsical today.

I usually read it all, even if it's pretty crap I'll read the rest because I started it :P

What I don't generally do is to reply to Threads that go on over 4-5+ pages.

I just come to this site to look at the pretty pictures. Reading is for hippies and schoolgirls.

I read the first couple sentences, see if it's interesting and whatnot, then read the following couple replies, then go back and read the full post before replying (that is if I decide to reply).

"And so here at the end of my life, I do once again betray a former
master. The path ahead is fraught with peril. But I will do all I can
to keep it stable - keep you safe. I'm not so foolish to think this
will absolve me of my sins. One life hardly balances billions. But I
would have my masters know that I have changed. And you shall
be my example." -Mendicant Bias

Wow we have a lot of lazy people in this forum eh?

  • 01.02.2007 2:04 PM PDT

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I find that if i dont read them and post about them, then i look dumb.

  • 01.02.2007 2:39 PM PDT

Sometimes. Sometimes I just read random threads. I read a lot more threads and posts than I actually respond to. Some of the stuff people have to break into multi-post ideas gets carrried away. You fans and your theories...
