Okay here's the thing, I went into the Halo PC forum and supported a dude who was ripping on mouse users, and ended up getting flamed really really badly for my beliefs... which made me ask, what makes Xbox better? I'm sure everyone has seen like a million posts with comparisons be4, so I won't get all worked up or anything, but why does everyone like Halo on Xbox better? Personally I just find it more convinent to plug and play rather than patch and install and update.... I'm sure other ppl have different reasons tho...

P.S (if you r a PC supporter you WILL be flamed!) hehe (sorta kidding)

xbox is the best first there are no hackers and i dont think u can play co-op on pc and if u can u cant really see what they r doin so u cant warn them of stuff. the only thing good about pc is u get the flame thrower and the fuel rod cannon cannon

The first time I ever played Halo was on XBOX, so i just got used to it that way, and my computer sucks, so my comp has some problems with Halo PC. I'm also used to the Xbox controlers so its kinda weird for me playing with a mouse, not to mention my mouse sucks too...

So i guess it just depends on what system you have, how well it works, and what you are use to. *shrugs* Just my opinion tho.

Well i do play halo pc online (they call me butcher!!) but it just pales in comparison to the xbox version in every way . No glitchy graphics , coop , easier to setup a lan session and its like 3 yrs old now yet my fairly powerful pc struggles to keep up with the game and looks way crapper than the xbox version , nuff said.

halo pc is -blam!-. gearbox took away everything halo in its MP. campaign was still pretty good. although a pc is more powerful, it just fits on an xbox better. its where it belongs.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Gearbox did a awful job canverting it! They ruined Blood Gulch with the Banshee, and the graphics were not as good, no matter how good your comp is, it is impossible to get it to not run slow because Gearbox coded it so inefficiently coded it, and the fuel rod gun and flamethrower totally ****ed up the weapon balance.

I don't like using a mouse to look up down, left or right. I'd rather just push my joystick left to do a full 180, were as if I were to do that with a mouse, I'd have to jet it to the left, and bring it back onto the mousepad, throwing off turning faster and aiming better. I like the use of 2 joysticks better then one mouse. It also seems that computer games have more hackers, more lag, and you need a REALLY GOOD "I'm a rich -blam!-" computers to play most games on the comp, where as you can play that game on the Xbox even better which is only $150 dollars. That's my reasoning. (and because I prefer controllers over mouses and keyboards)

hehe i AM a pc supporter and im pretty prepared to get flamed. anyway, i will admit that in my experience NOTHING is as fun as a halo lan party...and the only one ive been to was only 8 people. i like the mouse/keyboard MUCH better than any game controller tho the xbox is my favorite out of the ones ive tried (N64, PS2, Gamecube, Sega genesis (lol i think thats its name) ). actually the resolution of a comp screen is greater than that of a tv (ummmm at least im pretty sure it is). the reason many people find the xbox version better really has very little to do w/ xbox vs pc. gearbox just ported it (i think thats the correct term) really, really bad. the netcoding (again im hoping thats the right term) sucks so theres hella lag on most servers, but theres always a few w/ very little to 0 lag...yeah u have to install but really i mean so what? the patching is done automatically and its only necessary when u play mp...i bet u i can click multiplayer, wait through the automated update check, and even install an update and begin playing a 16 player ctf be4 u can even call all of your friends over. also, i can run halo pc (on lowest settings) w/ no lag (sp) and i have a pentium 3 and a geforce fx 5200...so u dont need an AWSOME computer to play it...so yeah in my opinion theyre both different and better in their own ways...pc has the convenience (once installed), more precise (though it can be argued whether or not theyre better) controls, and instant multiplayer...if ur an only child and ur sittin at home w/ an xbox and ur friends cant come over, theres only so many times you can play the campaign...xbox lan parties which are the best gaming experience imaginable...i can see where people would like either one better, i just hate the ppl who go "PLAY HALO AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE ON THE XBOX PC SUCKS XBOX RULES PC SUCKS, OH YEAH AND NINTENDO SUCKS TOO!!!" sides halo was originally gonna be a pc game till micro$oft bought them out...sry if this was too long or i spelled/talked like a n00b

XBOX=HALO, PC=-blam!- simple as that. lol jk (not really) besides an xbox is 150 bucks and a computer that can play halo pc WELL is like...ALOT more. maybe 10 times more.

its all about the port. halo works fine on a box yet needs a super powered pc to run even moderatly, never mind as gd as the x box version. besides, no matter how fast you can get online you wont have as good a game as with your mates if you can spare the time.

lol well...ive had some pretty damn fun games online and some pretty sucky ones w/ my friends...but yeah, generally speaking its MUCH more fun w/ ur friends than w/ people you dont know. and yeah a pc costs a lot more, but its not just a game system remember, it does a whole lot more so youre paying for that too.
