I work at Microsoft. I have nothing to do with Halo and nothing I say is "the official word".

I think people just need to take the time to read that little blue text under the forum name... it really shouldn't be as difficult as it seems to be for some people

I'd think that something like this would work well to force users at least to make a forum selection if they don't select a thread. Yes it doesn't get rid of the people who choose the wrong forum but it at least makes all the information in one place so someone can't just say "I'm to lazy to find the forum definitions". People who are lazy will just post in the flood as is most likely fit. Everyone else has a simple list of forums to choose from

I'm real -blam!--retentive when it comes to grammar. All those tense errors by the thread creator made my head spin. What is this topic even about?
