Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

What level of Halo 2 would they include? For example, for Halo PC, they used the "Silent Cartographer" mission level in the demo. If they do indeed even make a Halo 2 Demo, whether it comes with Vista on a Games for Windows demo DVD, or as a seperate download.

I would recommend Outskirts as the demo level. Possibly Metropolis. Perhaps Delta Halo.

Heh, nice. I would personally like Metropolis. Isn't that the one where you get in Ghosts and Warthogs and go flying down those motorway tunnels? I remember playing that level on a friends Xbox at his house, it was amazing ^^.

Yes, but you also do that in Outskirts.

Yea, ok. I've only played Halo 2 in little bits on the Xbox, so i have no idea what the names of the levels are. I'm leaving most of the enjoyment for the beefed up and glossy PC version :D

One of the levels in the middle of the game, that doesn't really give away anything...
For multiplayer, my bets would be on Coag.

I would think Delta Halo for a campaign level and perhaps Coagluation or Zanzibar for a multiplayer map.

The Marty Army

Ah, look at the lonely people...

Campaign: I'm thinking Outskirts; it gives a full demonstration of both ground and vehicle combat.

Multiplayer: I'm thinking either Zanzibar or Coagulation. Maybe even Midship or Ivory Tower.

Another vote for Outskirts. Any level past that would give away too much of the plot.

SPOILER

In Metropolis, if I remember, you essentially take down a bigassed mechanical spider (also known as a scarab). The Silent Cartographer in H1 sorta gave the player a taste as well as building anticipation for what the rest of the game would be like. Essentials like The Flood or Monitor were kept well hidden by that time.

Delta Halo would reveal to the player that there is another Halo...remember, if you never played H2 before (I'm sure the rock you live under is lovely, by the by), it'd suck if half the game was introduced through a level that included the Arbiter or Delta Halo. Each Halo game seems to have some hidden secret somewhere along the line; in H1 it was The Flood and the revelation of why there was a gigantic ring floating in outer space, in H2 it was Delta Halo and (UBER SPOILER. You've been warned) being able to play as a split-chinned Arbiter Elite.

Yes, that's why I'm saying, Outskirts would be the best IMO.

What it is.

i would say either Outskirts or Delta Halo. I say Outskirts because all of the trailers lead to the thought that the whole game takes place on Earth but infact it doesnt which is why they could also have Delta Halo. I wouldnt recommend Metropolis just because there isnt enough on-the-ground combat rather it is more based on vehicular combat. I dont think i would really care unless they dont pair Halo 2 Vista with the Windows Vista launch. Mainly because i plan to buy both at once...

Why would they release an incomplete level that isn't even in the game?
