anyone who's played more than you has no life

anyone who's played less than you is a noob

i'd quote for truth but you're right above me.

pro CS players would run in and destroy three bad players. halo PC is NOT the only game with a huge gap between the "pros" and bad players. In fact, the only game where there isnt really much of a gap is one with masses of autoaim. know what it's called? halo 2.

you think this is unique to halo pc? hah.

play team hardcore; the only reason anyone ever wins [according to the jerks who play it] is because they had host. Even when i'm off host in the UK and destroying people i still hear "OMG HOST" every ten seconds. get over it, and ignore people. works a treat.
But in Halo PC we use this thing called dedicated servers so nobody has an unfair no-latency advantage like they do in Halo 2, with peer-to-peer gaming and all that.

When I said CS, I meant CS Source, believe me I am no noob at CS or CSS, when I play games, I paly them to the best of my ability.

And for the record, in CSS spraying is the way to go, the best players in the world do it, down to the worst. In CSS there is only 1 truly accurate weapon, that is the AWP, all good players use it as often as possible. Other weapons that are moderately accurate, such as the AK or Colt are used as spray weapons even at medium range.

If you guys do not believe me, please, get a few team mates and challenge my clan to a CSS match, cos I can tell you now that you won't stand a chance. CSS = Spray and Pray.

For CSS the AK is NOT perfectly accurate on the first shot. want me to go and make a video right now? Do you have anything to backup what you are saying? I play CSS in a competitive league, like I play halo, and I KNOW that with the AK you spray since I play the game every single day, in matches.

Please join a clan, and then face us and watch as we AWP, flash and spray you until you hate the game so much you kill yourself.

Noobnoobnoob, I'll try to take you whenever you get on.

  • 01.22.2007 4:16 PM PDT

Get Marathon Here
Get Marathon 2 and Infinity Here

Well I don't know what servers you guys play, but the random ones I choose are devoid of cheaters, or one's that know what their doing anyway. (I try and get as many "normal" servers as possible, can't stand modded maps, almost always their half assed piles of super AR's or infinite rockets).

Meh, guess it's just good luck on my part, but Halo PC multiplayer is still awsome in my book, sorry to hear your experiences have been so bad.

Lol!

This one's good, this one's good.

I'm playing in the [M2K] clan server last night, and I'm pretty annoyed. I had been lectured by my mom earlier and she was purposefully annoying, just to agitate me. So I said, "Hey, let's cool off to some Halo." So I do, and I go to a pro pub, the [M2K] one. As usual, you get killed every 5 seconds by a spawn killer or a type kill. Sometimes you kill the 4 people around you first and get some time, but then you get randomly sniped. Already being agitated, I say something along the lines of, "Wow, you're a noob dude, you just chat killed me 4 times. Aim for someone else."

And then I get the bukake of "N00B!!" and "YOU SUCK LOL" from everyone. So at this time, I no longer was made, I was laughing my ass off, because nothing pleases me more than to see a bunch of retards get mad.

So I start typing in random crap like, "-blam!- -blam!- -blam!-" just to piss them off more. Then I start saying that I'm emo and I will kill them. Now they're insanely pissed off, and I have everyone in the server thinking that I'm a noob and that I suck. So, I start to actually try.

"OMFG BOT BOT BOT!"
"LOL TODD NICE BOT!"
"HOW COULD YOU NOT BOT, YOU WERE JUST SUCKING LOL"
"OMFG YOU SNAPPED ONTO ME EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE ALREADY LOOKING AT ME!"
"LOL, THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE, YOU CAN'T GET A HEADSHOT, YOU SUCK!"

That game I came in second to someone who was spawn camping the whole game (he had 2 deaths, I had 7). I will admit that he was a good shot, but I wasn't happy that he had to spawn camp to win. So I called him a noob, and he called me a bot. Next game was Team Slayer. 13-2 was my score, the next person had 7-8.

For all of you dumbasses out there that were facing me last night, go die. Learn to play Halo too, because 90% of you couldn't aim for -blam!-.

Finally, for the love of god, please be more sincere to people. Because when you aren't then I'll make you -blam!- your pants till you're humble and crying.

I would just like to make a remark and a witty one-liner.

Firstly, it really is very difficult to tell if someone is botting or not. With a moderate connection and good dodging skills, you can throw off even bot aims, and do moderately well (with some less effective bots).

Secondly, HPC has been dead for years, we're just having fun corpse-humping.

You're no better than they are for instigating them. So, somebody is killing you while you're chatting--whether or not it was unsportsmanlike is not the point here, but the fact that you actually provoked them makes you just as bad as they are.

Yeah, I'm with Kim, you don't provoke someone and get mad at them for something that YOU caused.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

For once, I completely agree with Kim.

It's a two way street. Call people noobs, expect to get called out on it.

The community of good players is small enough that reputation is important. Treat people with respect and all that. If you think that you are the only person around here accused of aimbotting on a regular basis, you are fooling yourself. But you have to make the effort to show people that you are genuine. Your antics on the M2K server sound pathetic, no offense.

To the topic creator: was there a true purpose of this thread besides b*****ing and flaunting your mastering of the gameplay system of Halo? Because, to me, it seems that's all you've been able to do. That, and claim another game with a simple gameplay formula like Halo, which can also be learned, is much better. Here's a tip; if you hate the public server community of Halo, then either don't go pubbing or don't spend 24/7 winning the game. I say winning because it's obvious from your tone that that is what you set out to do; win. There is a difference between "being good" and "being a pro." One actually has fun while playing the game, while the other figures out the formula and uses it to their advantage. Which do you think you fall under?

So if you're here to prove that you're "the greatest" then please, spare us the drama bomb fallout you've caused and just leave. There is nothing worse found on a forum then someone who acts like they are better than everyone else. When people post a thread it's usually to instill creative thoughts, not incite flames and scoffs. In your eyes you might be a pro, but to me, and to many others, you are base.

OMG, this thread just gave me a nosebleed...

By the way, how are other people supposed to know that you're typing when they kill you? It's not like there's a little blurb in the chat window that says: "dbzprogrammer is typing. Please don't kill."

If you get typekilled that is your own damn fault for using the chat in plain veiw of everyone else.

Judging from your version of events, you were acting like a dip-blam!-. A big dip-blam!-.

Oh my god. After this thread, the MAW forum has deteriorated to nothing more than a steaming pile of bullcrap. Seriously, like can we just let this die?

And grow up too some of you. Nobody cares about how good you are in Halo. If you do, then I'm sad to say you have no life. Halo's a game. Just do your best and have fun. You guys take this way to seriously.

Yea, I know. I understand the idea of calling someone a noob will come back at me.

And for the most part, when people get a good shot in, and call me a noob, I throw it aside.

And I am going to be honest, I don't mind chat kills that much, but this guy was sitting by blue base, and after spawning 4 times and being killed by the same guy, I decided to call him out.

It may just be me, but I love getting stuck up people pissed off. Not when the situation requires serious concentration, but in a pub, there's nothing more entertaining than see the arrogant get mad.

To be honest, I'm a huge fan of Halo PC. Love the game, and there are some great people. But Jesus Christ, at least have some respect, maye a little more than Kim, but yea.

This makes me think that maybe you were aimbotting.

Plus, CSS is faster than Halo, so why would it make you better? You'd be getting messed up. This doesn't really sound..sensible in my part.

Sorry to sound so harsh, but arguing over kills in a video game makes you look retarded. Enjoy your life.

Helped me aim at the head a lot more to be honest. I had to get used to lag compensation, but yea.

The fast helped me too, because now I'm faster than most at Halo.

CS FTW!

Halo has a much slower pace than some first-person shooters I've seen--it goes at a snail's pace considered to something like Unreal Tournament or Quake.

Quake 3 Rails for the win! Damn I got good at that game type, 60% accuracy, 50% one hit kills (headshots)!
