1. I don't compare book to game, because there will always be differences...
2. I prefer video proof, stating you counted could be just like pulling a number out of your head at random and calling it fact...

1. Well the differences have been minimal. You people are just blind.
2. Can't give video proof because my PC sucks and I have no where to post it. And I count accurately. I hate just pulling numbers (or anything from Halo) out of thin air and calling it fact. And that is because lying is bad, especially when trying to expose the Tru7h.

*sigh* it was merely a question, I just wanted to make sure you didnt just count once and take it as gospel! No need to be so edgy!

I said video proof first of all

and that proof you listed is nothing more then a list of character you meet in the game, like total Covenant and how many of each one you run across per level.

We are talking multiplayer here, so the fact that in the single player storyline marines, ODSTs, and others don't have shields doesn't matter. They can in MP. In the SP storyline there's only one Spartan left that we know about, and even when there were more than one, they didn't drop into inescapable gorges and battle each other! MP is a different monster, and personally, the more choices we have for what we look like, the better. As long as the spirit of the SP game remains that is. I wouldn't want to see non Halo skins in the retail MP game.

By proof I was referring to that I am adamant about getting my numbers right. I still have a few more guns to deal with on Legendary mode to get the numbers all set for each breed of Covenant(all ranks of each unit) and marine type before I can post them. Otherwise I would right now.

I counted and got 35 to 45 (several times might I add). It's not blind, It's called "Common sense". Minimal is completely wrong as well, the books didn't go anywhere as close to what I personally did in Halo 2...

I didn't read steeling banshee's, jumping off the first bridge to get to the bottom, or executing that glitch to where you only fight Covenant at the first part in AotCR. Let alone the rest of the game...

You were either on one of the following then.

Heroic mode, or your enemies were already being damaged by something else. I.E. another Covenant, marine, your own smacking them, etc.

um, no... I'm not a moron

or your enemies were already ebing damaged by something else. I.E. another Covenant, marine, your own smacking them, etc.

Nope, it was a one on one fight.... It was the end of the level Halo that I used, all the marines and Covenant died except for the one blue elite that always decides to hide way back in the rocks at the end (every time he does it too, an AI glitch? I never did figure out why he does it)

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

Of all the characters we know about Brutes are the only ones that could be included and still be fair. In the OXM issue it stated that the Brutes could take 3 sniper shots to the head. The first two would crack open his helmet then the next one to kill him. Well maybe that makes them over powered, but with some tweeking I think they could become balanced if you had to destroy their armor before they would get hurt.
