How come these forums dont keep post count???? Not that i care anythign about it....

They did keep a post count for the first few weeks after B.net's relaunch. However, people were posting too much worthless junk just to boost their count, so they took it off a couple of weeks ago.

I think that the post count is a useful tool on forums. If I ask a question like, "Do you think I should buy XBL before I get Halo 2, now that I have Counter-Strike? The only problem is, if I buy XBL, I might be able to earn enough money to preorder Halo 2.".

You can use the Joined Date and Post Count to see what kind of answer you'll get. Let's say Joe has 12 posts and joined yesterday, and Jason has 580 posts and joined six months ago. I believe that I would respect Jason's opinion more, for the simple fact of seniority.
