No, i dont have a soundcard, and i cant hear ANYTHING. No windows sound, no games, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I dont know what to do. Has anybody had this problem before? Thanks in advance.

Did you make sure your speakers are connected to the right jack? Did you make sure they were turned on? Did you make sure your volume controls were set properly?

Well then I guess you're screwed until you get a real soundcard.

Wait a minute..."put?" As in, you took everything out and stuck it into a new computer case? Then likely somewhere along the line you didn't connect your soundcard (or if it's integrated, the motherboard) properly. Take it apart again and check to see if everything is connected. In general, preassembled machines aren't designed to have parts (or even the whole thing) taken out and stuck into a new case, and my experience with Emachines has told me that they're...not exactly of the best quality; willing to sacrifice for the sake of cost.

in your bios. If you can access the integrated in sounds and audio devices, then it's fine. If you can't, then that means it's not turned on.
