Hey people, anyone know how to sort out a widescreen problem where you miss about 30% of your vision? Because Halo doesnt support widescreen, the veiv seems to magnified. My moniters resolution (max) is 1680 x 1050. Anyone know how to counter this problem?

Hey, man...long time no see.

I currently have a 14.1 inch widescreen laptop. Right now, I just let Halo run as it is. It does indeed throw my aim off a tad, and make everything a bit elongated, but as far as I know, there's no real fix for it.

Sorry, dude. Wish I could've been of more help. :/

A few things, get the field of view hack that there is, then just increase the field of view till it doesn't look magnified. The hack is at bitterbananas site. There is also manually changing the resolution in Halo to the size of your screen, can't quite remember how to do it though.

I think you mean that it's cutting off the bottom and top of your screen. Halo does suport wide screen resolutions, but not the aspect ratio. So instead of morfing everything, you loose part of your up and down FOV. So there really isn't anything we can do. Hopefully vista will be different.
