I don't know about everyone else that plays Halo! But I own my friend in MP! Sometime I am only allowed to use one gun (plasma pistol or AR) to give me a big disadvantage. I have to play easy in order for my friends to have fun. SO, why not! Make it to where there could be some UNBalance? Like giving someone a BIG advantage? I wouldn't mind, make me a ODST against a spartan. I am ok with that. It would give rookies a better chance and make it more fun for them! And more of a challenge for the Halo Veterans!

Back in James Bond 007 GoldenEye! They had this cool feature where you could make handicaps! And that would make it more FAIR (Because people like fair!) for my friends. Because if we had the same health. And everything was BALANCED, I would own them and they would throw the controller into the ground and give up!

If someone is own in MP 25-3! There is a great unbalacnce there!

There were a couple of handicaps in Halo. You could set it so that when you die you run a little faster, and every time you get a kill, you run a little slower. There were no outright handicaps though, that is to say health handicaps. It doesn't really matter to me though, if I was so bad that the other player had to be handicapped for me to kill him, it would cheapen the experience.

I have to say yes, that way when you're playing with someone new to the game, who really wants to get better, they cane have a chance.
Besides, that way I can give my girlfreind a handicap so she'll actually have fun playing against my hardcore, ultra-halo-geek, freinds and won't constantly get killed by them... and me.

Personally I enjoyed the learning curve of being thrown in at the deep end, I mean the first time I played multiplayer Halo was against two people who had been playing for almost a year and I was put into a team with another noob! We got battered, but now Im one of the best in my group of friends, and its all from practise!

Yeah, I do agree that the only way to get good is to play against people better than you, but if you play people every now and then that aren't going to get any better, it would be cool to have handicaps.

That would be good. Just this evening I was playing Pro Slayer with my brother, and I ended up beating him 50-2. The 2 kills he got were when I left the room to go to the bathroom.

Yeah, handicap is a good idea for Halo 2. The handicap on GE was basically the only reason me and my friends could play together. We had a few that sucked and a few that rocked.

Any super l337 Halo player would only see handicaps as more of a challenge.
