Can't afford Xbox? It's $150! A Halo 2 compatibable computer would be like $3000!

Doesn't even come close to 1500 dollars when making a computer. You obviously don't know what you're talking about either.

No, my computer can barely even support Halo PC now. You would probably need a really good PC to support it and internet play might mean bad business for Xbox Live.

Erm....what complete jerks are saying no? Are they really that pitiful?

Hrm...it seems to me that, considering xboxs havent changed at all, pcs wouldnt have to change much.

Haha you have to wait for HL2, and when you do get it, the graphics are gonna suck so bad compared to the PC version. I don't know ANYONE who has a PC worth 3 grand, mine certainly isn't, and it runs Halo perfectly, and FarCry, Doom 3, UT2k4, CoD etc. all at max graphics settings. So evidently you don't know anything about computers, and should not give your opinion until you actually have some knowlegde of what you're talking about. and by the way, the ONLY reason why you might need a better, more powerful machine than the xbox is to play a game that demands a better, more powerful machine than the xbox, like a better version of the same game, like what Halo PC is now and what Halo 2 PC will be soon. I'm still amazed they even bothered trying to put Dx9 effects on the xbox's lame gfx card. Bump-mapping and Specular are gonna look so much better on the Pc version.

Halo2 PC will suck

1) You need a good Pc +- 1000 $ or run it very low detail

2) X-Box is much cheaper 150 + 25 + 25

By saying Halo 2 PC sucks, indicates that you also mean Halo 2 Xbox sucks as well. Both games are the same say and by saying one sucks, you're declaring all of them suck. And if you say "well one is on Xbox," Xbox is a minicomputer so you're saying both sucks. Think before you say something stupid.

With a 1000 dollars worth of hardware, I can play any FPS games at 1600x1200 compared to Halo Xbox's 480p which is 640x480. Sure its on the TV, all stretched out flat. HD support, thats a joke there. because we all know how to research the computer parts and buy the ones that is needed.

Xbox is cheaper, but where is the keyboard and mouse port. Oh wait, Microsoft doesn't provide any support for anything let alone there is no action replay cheats for it. It shows how Microsoft isn't really into helping their own community and yet, look at Gearbox, Halo CE and HEK. Oh boy, that sure looks better in Microsoft's ugly face.

true, but first of all.....
all pre made computers are like $1000+, unless there just a POS,
a computer can do 20 times the things an xbox can. only an addict throws $2,000 on a computer that's soley for gaming ( they make little computers for lan games, about the size of a xbox, but like 10 times better for twice the price)
since when can you write the ten page paper due tommaro on an xbox?
since when can you mod an xbox without a computer? it's eliminating the middleman. (rember what i sad before about most computers costing over $1,000)
there are some others i'd like to mention, but i got to go...

My PC ain`t the best or the most expensive and it can run Doom 3 with max graphics settings and only has a very few slowdowns...and that happens only when something blows up in my face.

PC: P4@1.7GHz,512MB DDR-RAM 400,ATI Radeon 9600 128MB DDR-RAM and 2 HDD`s that have 40GB`s each...this add`s up to about 1000 Euro`s or less and it includes a 17'' monitor...for about 20 or 30 Euro`s in plus you can get a 20'' monitor and for about 150 or 200 Euro`s plus you can get a kickass 7.1 surround sound system and you have mouse and keyboard not crapass controller wich is beyond slow in a shooter

Though computers arent as expensive as someone said, even £600-700 is a lot to some people. I couldnt afford it (being a student), and you may be able to build one cheaper, bust most people cant do that. They rely on prebuilt ones. So some people would not be able to afford a pc that could anything, let alone halo2.

I support Halo 2 for pc, because i feel everyone should be able to play it.
