Lol, how many people are smart enough to know what a PC is? I have about 230 friends on Xfire, again, Xfire. And those people basically only play Halo PC. Those 230 are not even a tenth of the PC population.

Unlikes most forums, if someone asks for help, we help them, we do not make fun of them for not knowing something or anything about a PC. Most players there are skilled and mature, unlike the Halo 2 community who are a bunch people who suffer from Turret's and think they can snipe with a assload of auto-aim.

The Maw is the most spam-free forum there is, there's barely any -blam!-s in sight, and if there is, a Ninja will be informed and they will be dealt with. Like most Ninjas said, The Maw basically holds it's own, unlike other forum who need the Ninjas to hold their hands.

Other thing I've noticed, we have lots of gatherings, unlike other forums who I've never seen do. And it's literally another Computer Aid forum. I know this because I'm a Maw myself, in both Bungie.net forums and The Maw Clan.

Delete the Maw, and it would be like raising a son without a Father, no role-model, no mature people to guide, and overall friendly people.

I have no shame to consider myself Maw and saying The Maw is the best forum of all the others.

The Maw is largely inactive compared to the rest of the forums and should be removed. Face it, no one cares about the PC versions of Halo and Halo 2. Discuss.

If the Maw is removed I will personaly find a way to track your IP and kill you with this

Where is he?! Nobody talks about my house that way.

The activity is perfect you can actually follow topics, and it will get plenty busy when H2V is released. You should be removed. Don't let me catch you in the MAW.

QFGDMFT

BTW Iggy there is basicly the unoffichial leader of the Maw (as well as the official leader of the MAW~ clan)

I'm certifiable.

The first Bungie game I bought was Halo PC. Though I rarely drop by these days, I certainly appreciate the presence of the Maw.

You want to know what it'd be like to have no moderators on this site? Try this easy to prepare simulation.
Step 1: Procure yourself an intact box, something a fridge or similarly large appliance.
Step 2: Fill cardboard box halfway with feral cats. One or two should be rabid.
Step 3: Climb inside the box, closing the top behind you.
Step 4: Begin screaming and thrashing wildly at the cats.

Then could it be possible that the Maw becomes reborn as the Halo 2 Vista Forum?

The bickering about this matter is now pointless. I demand that the Maw be removed, immediately!

Did you just not see what happened? Most of the mods and staff came to our aid, and with one post in the MAW~ forums, I brought on a page of replies from Maw veterans. The Maw stays, as no community , however large, can ever beat a community as close knit as us. Most of us regulars actually know each other by name...

Are you blind? Several forum mods that I have never even seen have posted in this topic, and all of them have clearly stated their opinion on this matter; I demand that your account is immediately removed from these forums, and that you are IP-banned from Bungie.net. : )

Maw

No. Maybe updated, maybe it should double (officially) as a "Tech Support Forum".

By the way, Lascott, removing a forum just because it isn't very active is like removing Cuba because its still in the 20th century. Its not there fault!

I don't go to The Maw that often, but when I do, I'm surprised at the amount of mature talk that happens there. I think it's a perfect role model for the rest of the forums. I say keep it.

-blam!- off nublin

the maw isnt going to be deactivated just because its "inactive". and your quote about nobody likes the PC versions, pfft THERE ARE ALOT LESS DUMBASSES LIKE YOU IN HALO PC. And there still are threads made about Halo PC and im sure it will be even more popular with the release of H2V.

so get the -blam!- back in new mombasa, its a place for retards like you

What do you have against the Maw Lascott? The Maw forum is still plenty active, and we do take the time to help people in need. Provided they post their questions in an intelligent manner. We won't help someone who asks a question like: "Hoow do U git Haalo PC 4 ffree on teh compootur?"

Besides, what do you care? You don't go to the Maw. Let the sleeping dog lie. Especially if that dog can 3sk you from halfway accross blood gulch while giving out useful computer tips at the same time.

As much as myself a long-time Maw goer (over a year now), my opinion is mixed.

The Maw is one of the best forums on Bungie no doubt, but as of late, it's been spewing full of elitism BS (like Nessy and a few others) which has deteriorated the quality of the forum. But it's still a good place nevertheless, and a majority of members are still helpful towards others. Because of this, the forum should stay, and I look forward to another year.

This topic must die now. Good day.

Ah, look at the lonely people...

Naw, The Maw holds it's own. It's the "safest" forum, as well.

If you want my opinion, The Library should be removed. It sees the least amount of posts, I believe.
