Subject: I sometimes get redirected to the home page.

You say tomato; I say potato.

About 1 time a day I get redirected to Bungie's main page after clicking something. For example, I clicked the "Post" button to reply, but instead of replying I am taken to the front page. For what it is worth, I am using Internet Explorer.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I had this problem a while ago. It happens after you've been logged in for a long time. After a while, it needs to refresh your passport, or something like that.

There isn't really anything you can do about it, besides just deal with it. You should be able to hit the back button once or twice and be back where you were.

(Achronos gave the technical reason when I asked about this. I'll go look for it now and edit if I find it.)

Ah, here we go:

It happens when your Passport times out - if you have been logged in a long time, it will sometimes have to refresh your "Passport Ticket". When that happens, it punts you to the front page.

You can minimize this behavior by not selecting "save my password" in the sign-in box.

Forum ninjas are the forum moderators. They're the meanest, dumbest, and overall most useless users with special titles.

Master Forum ninjas are just that, Forum ninjas who have been given extra leeway to moderate the forums. They are the smartest and most capable moderators, but they're still jerks, so I'd stay away from them if I were you.

Your computer can't handle the pure pwnage that is Bungie.net

But seriously anything the posters above me have said should work.

Cortana 5 is a carbon-based lifeform that frequently visits these forums, currently residing in the United States. Practically every male on the site responds to her posts.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

That happens to me somtimes on firefox. It's usually after I leave the browser open on bungie.net for a while.

That would be a different problem. Most old links use "http://bungie.net". All you have to do to get the link to work is add "www." before "bungie.net", and it will take you to the right page.

That one gets annoying sometimes.

Every once in a while this happens when I have poured my heart and soul (and time) into a post. I hit the 'submit' button and it punts me. I then curse my computer and grammy's russian doll. Anyway.....it has forced me to copy the big posts before submitting them.
