Global warming will never happen, its all just hyped up. The total amount of heat change from 1960 to now is only like half a degree.

Really, you have not brought anything new to the debate since you're only disagreeing to start an arguement with me. You seem to only reply to certain parts of my posts while ignoring the rest of it. You brought the "any 17 year old with half a working understanding of physics would know" remark, well, I'm not 17, and I have more than half a working understanding of physics. In fact, I've been studying physics in my spare time since the fourth grade. Provided the text books I had weren't always the easiest to read at times, by the end of the fourth grade I had a pretty good working knowledge. Especially in nuclear physics, I even skipped the chapter in nuclear physics in high school and just went straight to the exam.

I do apologize for the ignorant comment, it was out of line. However, I do not appreciate you coming into this thread, and replying with the intentions of taking a shot at my intelligence. Really, I thought you were above something so petty. Guess I was wrong.

I believe you commented on me first, so you disagreed, so you are starting the argument? Stop trying to turn things round.

If you don't understand the physics I put there, like the standard formula of motion or acceleration due to gravity, then you either studied physics at a -blam!- level or your education system sucks.

Really now. Even after I apologized for the ignorant comment. You still insist on taking shots at my intelligence. Good form.

Global warming is happening, you said it yourself. You are correct that it is being over-hyped. We've only been keeping climate records for the last 80 or some years, and we can only make an educated guess as to what the climate was like a million years ago. For all we know, the warming trend might be a natural occurance. Besides, the earth has survived billions of years, countless natural phenomenon that changed the earth drastically. It will survive us as well. We're not going to destroy the world, far from it. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't take steps to lessen our impact on the world.

I didn't say a thing about your intelligence, maybe you should read what I said.

You just contradicted yourself. It's happening, for sure, but gradually. It isn't some dramatic global event that happens in a day, its effects will likely be apparent over decades, perhaps even centuries. But the point is, it's still going to happen unless people do something about it.

Yeah, well like the fact that last weekend it was +10 degrees C in Nova Scotia, and today its -21 C.. and we got 15 cm of snow.. on Saturday its gonna be +15 C. Tell me thats not one -blam!- up tempature range.. Thats global warming.
