I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

I just bought a new hard drive and i set the pins on it to slave but it doesnt show up in my computer any help?

Make sure you plugged everything in nice and tight. You may need to check if BIOS even notices it...

you do have 2 hard drives right? also make sure that you have the wide gray cable set up correctly as what ends connect to what hdd and what end goes to mobo,

yea i had the cables set up right and it was noticable in statup and dos i had to write a signature for it then make a partition in it. lazy guys over at seagate cant write a bloody partition.

Actually they let their customers decide how to partition the drive since there are different formats. I don't know of any company that sells pre-partitioned hard drives.
