Subject: The forums need to be fixed.

Posted by: Duardo
I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

Has anyone been having problems with the forums lately?

For the last few days I had to hit refresh in order to post a nw thread, I can't use the qoute option at all when posting a reply, and th only way to get my post to show up is to hit th back button after I click post.

I seriously think this has to be fixed.

Has anyone here been having similar glitches and errors?

I experianced this a few months ago. All I did was make my computer have an even amount of memory. One slot had 1GB while the other had 526MB. So, I simply, changed the 1GB to a 526MB. My problem was fixed. Although, this was probably in a rare case. May I ask which browser you are using?

What I meant was, what was the default RAM and memory? If you have upgraded one of the two or both, what are they now? Without all the added stuff over the years. Just right out of the box type of thing.

I think maybe 32.2 Gigs, I have about 16 gigs left, I'm not sure if thats entirely accurate, but again this computer is a few years old.

And of memory? Not hard-drive space, memory. Because if your memory is greater than your RAM, than your computer will run massively slow. Although, this may not be the case if you did not improve your computer lately and these problems just started to occur.

Could it have something to do with my Passport account?

Does this happen to you on any other forum board, other than xbox.com?

It mayb be your computer. Possibly a virus. Try deleting your cookies and then run a virus scan. Hopefully it will fix this problem.

Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

I had minor problems like that when I used IE7. I suggest you try FireFox, works like a charm everywhere including Bungie :)

You might want to try Ctrl + F5. That is, hold both at the same time. That will clear your cache, and cookies I believe. That helps with a lot of problems.

did you just upgrade your IE (internet explorer)?

becuase my dad upgraded it and i know it wont work with mlgpro.com (the site even tells you it wont work)

and sometimes on my other computer, i have to hit refresh when i submit posts (it says server not found, but hitting refresh will keep you from losing your post)

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I was having a similar problem a few moths ago too. I deleted my cookies and cleared my cache, and that fixed it. Although, I had to do it twice, and then it worked. I even had to delete all my other online programs. It took a long time for me to get my FTP client back up. I didn't mean to delete that one, haha.

So, I guess heed Roki7's advice, and delete your cookies and clear your cache. And if you have any other apps running, delete the unnecessary ones.

Still not orking, i've tried everything, It deffinitly ahs something to do with Microsoft Passport account/Hotmail account.

This all started when i began getting odd security messages everytime I log into Bungie.net.

This does not happen anywhere bu at Bungie.net, I can't even send PM's anymore.

LoL, I have the same problems dude.

I got this new Software actually, that I'm sure is the source of my problems. Basically it rids my computer of Cookies, which causes me to log out every few refreshes.

I could just delete the program but...........I like it (and it's school needed.)

I get weird messages too, like "You're system is Corrupted" and this is what the Bungie messages are telling me!

And I've done the Cookies/Cache/History trick, and that doesn't do anything. I even reset my browsers cookie section.

Yet I can't see my friends online, nor can I see when I get a PM. It's a bit of a hassle, but I've grown used to it. Oh, and I can force the site to display on a downgraded version of itself on command. I'll post a pic of that later.

There is your problem.

Try using Firefox with the IE tab plug-in.
