Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I really want to know what the general consensus is among the Halo PC elite. I've come to the conclusion I'm nothing without my team. How about you?

Probably not the best place to ask the oppinions of "elites" but I would say team play. The only non-team games that I play much are 1 v 1s.

Team play, especially when somone takes the lead and the rest follow. That helps.

FFA i find way better. Cuz you can do your own thing, and i dont much like CTF in just random servers.

I like FFA, but team games are the best. Free for all slayer usually means stealing kills. If you win a FFA game, it might be just because you spammed grenades on the floor in Prisoner rather than winning with skill, or maybe you picked off the stragglers who picked up a skull.

I like FFA if it's a simple slayer game. FFA oddball = being chased by a dozen people, who kill you after 5 seconds of holding the skull.

Team play is better if you can get on a team without a bunch of dumbasses or AFK's.

Team play.

There's just nothing quite like hoggin' with some good buddies on Blood Gulch.

Overall, I prefer team-play, but there are many different variables.

I like all-out Slayer on a server with no more than eight people. Eight is a good, solid number. Not dead, but not laggy.

I like team-play on either small servers with no more than four to six people, or larger servers with ten to sixteen people. Lately, I've found myself to be preferring the former.

I like being on a team because it gives some element of stratagy to your moves, kills, and disisions. Don't get me wrong, mindless killing is fine, but when it comes down to it, I like to think that what I did impacted our victory or defeat.

That aimbot is probably a virus that installs nasty pr0n dialers that charge you money on your phone bill and hijacks your interweb browser to nasty pr0n sites...

Free-For-All.
I'm much better at going solo than working with a team, as people tend to wander into my line of fire or enemies tend to duck behind comrades' heads. I don't do much other games than Slayer, as I prefer killing things than holding a skull or killing a certain guy, then killing everyone, then if I die, I have to kill another certain guy, etc.... The only person I have to rely on in FFA is myself, so I don't have to worry about team killers, AFK people, retards with half a brain in their skull who drive a fully loaded 'Hog directly at a tank which happens to already have its barrel aimed at us and the coaxial gun blazing, or people who just can't play worth crap and end up giving the enemy a 30-1 kill ratio. Also, I hate having my black-yet-grey armor changed to red or blue, as that is the worst camo for dark areas ever...other than white. I also just love finding some unwitting victim and stalking him for several minutes, eventually ending with three pistol shots to the head or a sticky on the back. You can't do that with team mates, they'll kill him as soon as they see him without regard for this self-satisfying game I play. All in all, I believe team mates are a cumbersome tool that inevitably gets in the way of my target unless it is comprised of people who know how to play and don't go AFK for 30,000,000,000,000 games.

Totally agreed. If people do something wrong, then at least in a free-for-all game you don't have to pay for their mistakes, for their errors, for their stupidity, for their incompetence--what they do wrong is their own fault and only they pay the price.

Nothing wrong with playing with a team, I prefer it. But sometimes I don't feel like having to deal with stupid teammates and I like to play a free-for-all gametype.
