Heyyo,

I saw it on sale for 40 dollars on Best Buy an hour ago.
The story is, is that my KEIO Optical Mouse is getting a bit old, and due to that, the cursor jumps around wherever it wants to, and it sometimes clicks on random buttons on the mouse for no reason, without warning. I still remember the look on my face when I accidently threw a grenade at my teammates in CoD2 multiplayer...
So I went window shopping for a new mouse I'd like today. I went to Best Buy, and there were three of them, the G5 Laser Mouse. I immediately fell in love with it, and its cool features. I have 70 dollars, but I'm looking to spend only 40-50 (which is the price of the G5 in Best Buy). So, my question is, is this a good deal or not? Do stores sell G5's for lower prices? Am I being ripped off, or getting a good bargain?
Thanks for any answers.
I can totally vouch for the mouse. I use it, it pwns. Tbh, I installed the driver software, and disabled all the speeds minus the 2000DPI setting. I don't like how it changes dpi setting on the fly depending on what I'm doing, I like it stable. Btw, it has adjustable weights, so you can set the mouse from heavy to light depending on your gaming style. It's a damn fine gaming mouse, and I setup the side button as a generic button so I could bind my mic to it for ingame chat like the source engine and hl1 engine games without tying up a keyboard button, and increasing my odds of certain death. =D
There is 1 downside to logitech mice, and it's technically not their fault, and that's the Jupiter EX game engine has a problem with certain USB devices, and they are supposedly working on a fix for it. There is a thing were you disable a HID driver (doesn't stop mouse from working btw) and the game will run flawlessly.
Ah thanks for the answers. Thank you everyone else too. Seems like I'm going be running like hell after school today to make sure all three mice stays intact...anyone grabs 'em all, I shall bust their caps! xD
